India Rail — INTERNET RESERVATION

I am regular traveler of indian railway and i came to know that railway starts online booking from 12.30 am and anyone can see berth availability but cant do reservation as it says booking will be starting from 8 in morning but when I log in at 8 servers never respond and after that tatkal tickets gets finished and waiting list starts so it causes lots of problem for the person who cant manage to stand in queues like senior citizens or working person as agent do charge 400/500 rs per ticket for such bookins means if I have to buy sleeper class ticket for mumbai to amritsar in tatkal i have to pay basic far around 500 and tatkal charges 200 and 400 for agent it means total cost paid is around 1100 in which if i add 200/250 more i can travel by third a/c.
I am shubhyatra card holder and always book tickets by using these card but i have no benefit whatsoever of this card if i want to do tatkal ticket booking on internet.Authority should restrict agents from grouping and black marketing of tickets. and these cards should not be given to agents who always do group bookings and those who want to book ticket on net using internet should be given access at 8 o clock as booking starts.

I am totally agreed with above complaint as I have faced problems regarding arranging railway tickets for people above age group 50 who are unaware of advance technologies and travelling in longer distance train.
Hi All,

This is to inform you all that I had filled TDR on 24th July 2010 and I didn't receive the payment for the same till now.
I had booked 2 tickets from IRCTC on 13th July 2010 for travel from PUNE to Hazrat Nizammuddin on 15th July 2010.
At the time of booking, ticket were in waiting status after preparation of chart one ticket had been confirmed and other one cancelled.
So I filled TDR on 24th July 2010 and waited for 3 months but after that I didn't received my refundable amount till now.
Then I enquired to IRCTC customer care but every time they use to tell the TDR status still in process.
I did regular follow up with the customer care executives but no satisfactory reply from them.

I really fed up by doing regular calls because they are just time and money consuming.

Please let me know why and how many days to be require for TDR payment?
I am sending my below Ticket details and waiting for corrective and quick action from Railway Dept in ASAP.
