IN THE INVOICE THEY INFORMED ME TO LOG ON TO www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm TO CLAIM MY FREE GIFT, THOUGH NO HINT ABOUT THIS WAS GIVEN IN THEIR OFFER. MOREOVER TO MAKE THE SITUATION WORSE, WHEN I LOGGED ON TO THAT SITE, IT IS ASKING FOR Fill in the Unique Promotion Number/Web Number AND e-mail id. BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN ACCEPTED. I TRIED TO GIVE EVERYTHING WHICH IS PRINTED IN MY INVOICE. NO CLEAR PROMOTOTION NUMBER IS GIVEN. THE WEB NO. GIVEN IN THE INVOICE IS ALSO NOT TAKING.

I THINK THIS WAY INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB /LIVING MEDIA INDIA LIMITED IS CHEATING LOTS OF THEIR VALUED CUSTOMERS. BECAUSE, I HAVE SEEN MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS THROUGH INTERENET.

SO, IF THEY REALLY HAVE NO INTENTION TO CHEAT, I REQUEST THEM TO SEND MY FREE GIFT IMMEDIATELY SO THAT I MAY BE RELIEVED OF MY INCONVENIENCE AND HARASSMENT.

Unique Code Activation — Free Gift

When called on Wednesday i.e. on 1st October, 2008 one Mr. Kapil told me that your unique code is not activated and will be done within 48 hours. So when trying to logg the same today i.e. on 4th October, 2008, I could'nt get the connection. When called again today for the same, one lady says it takes one week to get activated, whats happening nobody knows. Why dont you'll train your customer support people properly.

Rediculous to see that India Today people have recruited such dumbos in their organization. Please if you'll have any vacancy I am ready to join your firm. Please offer me the job and see that there is any complaint or no.

This is the bogus company with no responsibilities and making the people foo. It could not issue me the unique no. with the invoice, after complaint in your column i got the unique no. without activated, again I complained for the activation I got the activated message but the site for claiming the offer doesn't open. Now, I am of the opinion that this is not a genuine company on whom we could trust, its all bogus and fraud.

India Today Book Club — Free gift not given

Dear Sir,

I have paid Rs 1198 for Reebok shoes and a free gift of Reebok watch, i got the Reebok shoes which is not good quality and its not orginal reebok its delhi made reebok shoes.it ok but from last 45 days i m ask cutomer care people for sending my free gift but they told wait for 7 to 10 days again and again.

I am going to complaint in all media channels like Aaj tak , Ndtv, and other news channels.

India Today Book Club — camera not send

i hv purchase a digital camera of kodak 10.2 mega pixel, and transfer the money to them. they send sms that we send your product by courier. but corier owner syas that we return the product to company b'coz of problem of address. but the fact is that i am not getting the product. i call on customer care no. of company but they told that yet we r not getting any information from other department.
so pls take my complaint and send them a notice.

India Today Book Club — NOT GIVEN FREE GIFT

I had purchased a KODAC-C160-9.2MEGAPIXEL 3X OPTICAL ZOOM WITH 2.4"LCD camera from India Today Book Club vide INVOICE No.ORB[protected], ORDER NUMBER-OGB[protected], INVOICE DATE-08-DEC -09, CONSINGNT NO.[protected]. My membership No. was ITBC09179348 and my UNIQUE NUMBER alloted by india today book club was [protected]B[protected] . They offered me a free air ticket for one person for both sides but could not fullfill their promise till date.In their invoice they had given the site-www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm to claim free gifts,but even after login to the site there was no response from them. I had tried to call them number of times for my gift but could not contact . I have a original bill of India Today Book Club.. Kindy do the needful and try to punish them for not fullfill their commitment.
