[Resolved] Indian Oil Corporation / Gas — Non delivery of gas in time | |
Sir, Sri.C.Soman, TC 10/1040, Mannamoola, Peroorkada.P.O., Thiruvananthapuram-5, is a member of our Association (Mannamoola Residents Association) and a customer of Indian Oil Gas since 7/1/2002 (Customer No.4694). He is getting his domestic gas through M/s Sastri Gas Service, Kudappanakunnu. It's previous address was M/s Sastri Gas Service, TC 5/808(3), Mannamoola Road, Peroorkada .P.O., Thiruvananthapuram (Distribution Code 50554298. For the past 5 years he was getting the replacement cylinder (filled up cylinder), only after a delay of 1 to 2 months. This is causing great hardships to him. My consumer number is 76361. I am registered with B.P. Agencies, Housing Board Building, Pandit Colony, Kowdiar, Trivandrum 695 003. My booking reference No. is 6586 dated 21st February 2009 for distribution of cooking gas. Whenever I book the gas cylinder, the agency staff tells me that it would take 3 weeks to deliver the gas cylinder. As you can see, it is more than a month since I made the booking for the gas cylider. When I enquired with the BP Agencies last week, they promised me that they would deliver the gas cylinder to us within two days. But so far the cylinder has not been delivered to us. Could you let me know the normal delivery time required for the agencies to deliver the new gas cylinder after we make the booking over the phone. When I enquired with BP Agencies this morning, they informed me that they would deliver the gas cylinder within two days. Could you please take the appropriate action in this matter so that we could get the gas cylinder soon.
