Dear Sir,
I had applied for passport in March 2010. My reference number for the same is A023134.
After the police enquiry, it was said that the date of birth in birth certificate and educational document is not the same and rest all are fine. The police inspector suggested to get an affidavit done stating that both are same and submit it to passport office.
After getting the required affidavit from magistrate, when I went to the passport office, the officers told me that your passport status is not rejected yet and they can not accept the affidavit.
Either I should get the passport if it is minor issue or they should accept the affidavit and then dispatch my passport. I have been having a tough time getting my passport issued. The queue in the office is huge and it wastes my whole day if I go for any kind of enquiry.

It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time
The status is same from last 2 months but the passport has not been received yet.
I am really frustrated with the level of professionalism shown here and harassment caused.
Could you please tell me what would be the course of action here ? How should I approach the authorities and get my passport done ?
I will be looking forward to your assistance on the matter as soon as possible.

We have applied for our 3months old baby passport on 17th of December 2009 & PVC also has been done & we also went, spoke to supridendent but my baby passport still (20th July 2010) has not received. I dont know what kind service we are getting since we are not in country so we can not go & meet every day to the supridendent. Every time they use to say we will dispatch it in two days..but since 7 months that two days did not come.

I KAJAL MARYA have aplied for a passport on 7/5/2010. my file no is A021488. i stil dint recieve my passport..I VE COME TWICE TO PASSPORT OFFICE & STATUS IS SAYING THAT WE REGRET FOR DELAY OF PASSPORT U WILL GET WITHIN A WEEK & 10DAYS RE OVER I VE NOT RECEIVED TILL TODAY 19/8/2010 please look into it, and let me knw when i can expect my passport.

Her police verification and all was over by dec, but now its continuously showing the negligience of indian passport office. MY PASSPORT IS DELAYED and negligience of passport authority of india. Please help me if someone is listening to this.

I am Vadarevu Bhagirath Kumar. I have applied for 2 month passport on June, 1, 2010 and I have received my passport on September, 13, 2010. I got my passport in 3-1/2 months.
Passport Office should dispatch the passport without any delay. In the sense two months passport can be dispatched in 2-1/2 months. It should not take more than two and half months.
Like wise One week and 3 day passport should be dispatched in time.

Passport Office should dispatch the passport without any delay. In the sense two months passport can be dispatched in 2-1/2 months. It should not take more than two and half months.
Like wise One week and 3 day passport should be dispatched in time.

I have applied for PCC at R.P.O Delhi, but after looking into status of my application following info"File Reference Number (DLH-E[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT available" shown. Even it also shows site last updated on[protected].
Please guide me to whom I need to ask.
