It was really shocking what ITT and KRH did to us in combine. We had great expectations before ITT took over CSA. Most of them thought to get better privileges from ITT as its one of the best US Army contracting company. But what happened in these few days was totally negative, opposite and shocking for the Indian employees.
We Indian are not like the Americans or Filipinos who live and earn for them (in most cases). As Indians we always have more attachment to our families and we live and earn for them. We always give first preference to our family. We earn for our father, mother, brother, sister, wife and children. We always think of them before we think of ourselves that is because we are emotionally attached to them always. A single coin is important to us and that is why we don’t spend as the Americans or the Filipino employees do. And the most important reason behind it is that our salary is far low than them. Whatever money we earn we send them almost every month. ITT and KRH management know about this and that is why they are taking the advantage of our problem and our innocence.
We are being trapped since the beginning of the interview for ITT. First they drastically decreased almost everybody’s salary. Interview was unsatisfactory. They changed the positions of many employees. It was like filling up slots rather than choosing the right candidate for the right position. On the interview day they promised to give us overtime where as we heard that ITT decided to start three shifts for many departments without any overtime. Before we signed everything through CSA but now everything is done by KRH. This shows that ITT does not have that capacity to that and that is why they gave sub contract to KRH.
Even though many employees were offered a salary of KD75 to KD150 most of them signed thinking of overtimes and most importantly getting scared of losing a job and as I said before that only because to support the family.
Don’t the ITT and KRH management have hearts to feels for the Indian employees? Most of the employees are working since the war began and they have given their blood and sweat to the US Army in their support. Think of the Indian security employees who stand in the cold, heat and dust storm for 12 hours daily and ITT/KRH decides to pay them KD 100 only. How can they think like that? Think about the other employees work for the maintenance department. Because of them the company runs and see what they got now.
1. What if the Indian securities don’t do their work? All illegal things will come inside the base and we never know what.
2. What if the employees in safety department don’t work? There will be no more safety and there will be more accidents.
3. What if the MWR employees don’t work? There will be accidents in the Gym and no outdoor games.
4. What if the employees in the maintenance department don’t work? There will be electricity problem, plumbing problem, AC problem etc.
5. What if the mechanics don’t work? All vehicles will break down including army tanks, trucks etc.
6. What if employees in fuel point don’t work? No vehicles will run and no lights as nobody will be there to put oil in generators.
This is just a small example of what Indian employees do and without the Indian employees it is difficult to run the US Army contract. And even though this is true what we get? KD75 to KD150 per month as salary?
Biggest Question/s
Why do ITT pay the Filipino Employees high salary including extra perks where as Indian employees salary is deducted? Everybody knows very well that the Filipino employees don’t do anything and most importantly they are not aware of anything what they suppose to do. Without the help of Indian employees they are equal to ZERO. So what is that special thing in them which makes them so high in front of Indians? They are also Asians, they are also TCNs, and they are Eastern too. We are much more educated, experienced than them. Both the countries have the same currency value. Then why there is such a big difference in payment system? Why ITT doesn’t see qualification, experience and quality in an employee. What ITT sees better in Filipino employees? What negligence did KRH/ITT saw in Indian Employees’ which forced them to decrease our salary? WHAT MAKES ITT AN EQUAL OPPURTUNITY COMPANY?
These questions including all the above statements is surely going to be asked (by email) to leading US Army officers, The Pentagon, US Embassy in Kuwait & India, DCMA (Defence Contract Management Agency) and all organizations who work against human trafficking.
What we the Indian Employees should do now?
We are not jealous of what Filipino employees were offered. We are upset of the system. We are upset on the big difference. We are upset on the injustice done to Indian employees.
Indian Employees, do u think that you are less capable than Filipino employees, do you think they are more talented than you? Do you think they do more work than you? Do you think that what u did last 10 years for the US Army mere dust? Do you think that the value of your blood and sweat is just KD75 to KD150?
We have also decided to send email to almost all recruitment agencies not to send candidates to ITT or KRH. We shall inform them about the malpractices done by ITT/KRH. Same thing shall be informed to Indian Embassy and Indian Labour Law also.
If not then :-
Boycott duty from 13th February 2011. Do not go to your work place from 13th Feb 2011 till we are justified. Let the ITT, KRH and Filipino Employee do all the work. Nobody will get terminated. If by chance employees get terminated then ITT is not the only company or KRH is not the only sponsor in the world. There are thousands of companies in Middle East and other places. Just save Rupees 50, 000 to try for another company. We have thousands of recruitment agencies in India. Do not get scared. If somebody gets termination then others should collect money and help him till he gets a job. So remember friends DONT GO TO DUTY FROM 13TH FEBRUARY 2011.

I applied Passport of my wife Sunita Talwar in 27.09.2010 and file no. is A058474, I visited several times to Passport office but every time it was informed to me that very soon you will received a Passport. In the last week of Jan., 2011 I was called in the Passport Office to collect the Passport of my wife and when I reached there it was informed to me that they have already dispatched the Passport through Indian Postal Service.
As per Status Report in the Passport Site, the Passport send but till date we have not received Passport of my wife.
Being a Sr. Citizen I was harassed, when I contact Passport Office, they stated that they have delivered.
I also visited Post Office, Dilshad Garden but the Postal incharge stated that your Passport did not come here and if you provide the No. of Postal Service i.e., Speed post or Registry slip no. then they try to locate and to take that no. I again visited Passport Office but nobody co-operate me and did not provide the No. the Postal.
I was totally upset because of the behaviour of Passport Officers, is it good if one Senior person harassed by one of the Department which is in Home Ministry.
I will see, if we have not received the Passport.

I had submitted my passport application form on 20th oct, 2010 at Lucknow Passport office. After 10 day come to my passport of application form, I checked my passport status at Lucknow passport office website and fount status as: "Police Report has been received". while Police verification at my local police station have completed and report have sent back to Lucknow with following details.

As per best of my knowledge there is no criminal case against me, there is one civil case pending and in my passport application form there was no single column where I should mention about civil case. I found one column in police verification form about civil case so I have clearly mention the case number and attached the copy of case details.
