Applied for passport on 15.06.2009 in Thatkal Scheme. After remittting the money they told me it will reach your home within seven days. On checking the status on 18th june the status was passport ready on 18.06.2009. But till date not received. Tody the status is blank why? The matter is veryvery urgent. What can I do for getting the passport immediately.

I had applied for passport on 15.06.2009 thru thatkal. After remitting the fee the authority told me it will reach you within 7 days. But not yet received. On 18 the status was passport ready on 18.06.09. But today the status is blank. My application No. coc b03657109 and key no. [protected]. The matter is very urgent and I had to attend a meeting at Singapore next week. What should I do for getting the passport immediately.

My File no is GUWW75001009 of 2009. I deposited my passport application at Shillong passport office on 25TH July’2009. This passport office falls under Guwahati regional office.

Since last one and half month the site is showing that “Police Report is clear, Application is under process.” All the passport application made on the same date and even after that has been issued and cleared.

I urgently need the passport as have to go abroad . So I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

my passport not yet got to home after all enquiry happened before 20 days so what to do?... and also no reply from the government officers...

i didn't see the worst like Indian passport system, really i am very frustrated by these people.i don't know whether they r working or simply sitting.i am very much proud to be an Indian, but now a days i am feeling bad to be an Indian, because every where corruption, government not doing good.For my brother i applied passport in 2007 june, i didnt get passport as early the menstioned date, i got my mother passport after nearly 20 months.Now my wife applied in chennai passport office on july 4th, still we didnt get passport, she went passport office nearly 6 times, still they r not giving proper response.
Please, if India want to be developed country, correct government system,

I am Surya posting my comments from Sydney, Australia. I have applied passport for my wife on 23-Nov-2009. When I check the status on 17-Feb-2010, it was showing the passport will be dispatched by 18-Feb-2010 but after 19-Feb-2010 it was showing passport has been granted and will be dispatched by 28-Feb-2010. How can we trust these statements which are changing at regular intervals. Even we send a mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in to check why ther was a delay but there was no response from them.

in the online status it has shown that police enquiry has not being sumitted cirumtanceses delivery of passport is delayed. i sumitte my passport form in 03october 2007,where i ask officer how may times that takes in delivery he says three month maximum.and today five month latter when i see online status anshwer is same.so tell me what i have to do. why they are not making delivery . i want the details according the rule of RTI.

my comment on the services of the passport officiales is that you are issuing immediatley to the tatkal applicants but delaying to the common man who unable to bear the huge amount for that services that is against the equity and principals of natural justice, against the constitution.

I submitted my passport application on 2008 december, police verification has came on january 2nd week. After 2 months I verified many time about the status in the internent it displayed that police enquiry incomplete. I asked the reason for the incomlete to the police, he told that they sent the report to the coimbatore passport office.I left it. Dear Sir,

I Vijay Sharma(Applicant Name)worked as a Software Engineer in Intelligroup Asia Pvt. Ltd. Hyderabad.

I applied for passport application on 02 May 2008. That time due to incomplete address verification(I was not present at my dictated address in application), application revert to passport office(status incomplete address verifcation). And status change as quoted sentence "FURNISH 2 PERSONAL PARTICULARS FORMS. DULY COMPLETED, INDICATING THE CORRECT PRESENT RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS".

After that i sent again 2 PERSONAL PARTICULARS FORMS to passport Office, Jaipur and after some days application again revert to Bharatpur Police station(Mathura Gate) on 25 Dec 2008 for address verification. And this time i was physically present at my home. and police verification completed religiously. after that application file again sent back to passport office for further action on 15 Feb 2009. But till now i could not find out any updated status.

A long period has passed out in all these activities and i need it immediately as our organisation demand.

Sub: Delay in Passport Provisioning

I have applied for a passport in Collector Office, Salem on 3rd July 2006. The application number for my passport is z402447/06. The procedures for the verification and allotment of passport have been completed. But, the whole process has not been completed within six months from the date of application. As a result, the validity for the Demand Draft has been void. Therefore, I had to re-apply the passport again. When I enquired about this in Salem on 18th July 2007, I have been informed that all the procedures had been completed in Salem. They are unable to provide any further information and asked us to check with PRO (Public Relations Officer), Chennai.

When I went to Chennai to check for this on 18th November 2008, I have been asked to provide a written letter requesting for re-verification process. I have provided the same. No one had come to my premises for verification. As a result, there is still no progress in provisioning the passport. I have even complained about this through an e-mail ([protected]@tn.nic.in). I have not received any reply for that complaint. Please let me know what the current status of my passport application is and when the passport will be delivered.

If you are unable to process this passport application, please cancel it, so that I can at least apply for a new passport again. It has been more than 900 days since I applied this passport. As an Indian citizen, I think I don’t have to wait for this long to get a passport from Indian government.

I applied my new fresh passport on 28th January 2008 my file no: A005025/08 and my police verification was completed on 13th March 2008, but still now I have not received my passport which gives me hindrance for my official foreign trip.

i have lost my passport, and i cant even lodge an F.I.R with the police station as i dont have the back up of my passport number also. i dont want to get into trouble, if any mis-use is done with my passport. i applied for my passport from lucknow.
