[Resolved]  Indian Passport Office — Passport not received

Dear sir,

0ld passport issue place: trichy, date 12/08/98. passport no: A5921916

I have applied for renewal of my passport for 15/07/08 at doha, qatar -indian embassy, as per delevery receipt it should be one week after submitting my application form. but i went to indian embassy due to some PP cleareance it will take another month like that they are told, but my passport validity will over august first week. In this condition wht i will do.
but my visa valid till oct 2008. so please advice me to make this process soon.

Dear Sir,
I have applied for Passport onb[protected] vide Key No.[protected] Grroup F.NOC from my Mnistry
had some mistake which was corrected and revisede NOC from Ministry of Food Provcessing Industries was sent by fax on 1/7/07 to fax No.[protected] and revised NOC was also sent throuugh speed post my Ministry on 6.6.2008.Although a considerable period has elapsed tyet I have not so far received my pass port. Kindly expedite.

Dear Sir,

I checked the status of my passport online and it said "Furnish 3 photos signed by an officer"
I mailed 3 photos signed by the Megistrate, Nainital. It is almost 3 months now.
Today I checked the status again and it still says the same message.
Could you please look into this and update the message.

What is the next step, what do I need to do?
It is now more than 1 year I have applied for the passport.
Please let me know when and how can I get my passport.

Hi folks,

I have recieved my passport after 8months...i got response to my emails to "[protected]@mea.gov.in" and copied to "rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in"... Mr.Swaminathan has responded back twice for emails and wrote to chennai RPO to process my application. Any how after this long duration i have understand that process is pretty clear but they should be very careful while issuing the passport that is why they will be very causious to give you the status. any how we need to understand the process and few limitations and work pressure they have.

But i would suggest you all to write an email to Mr.Swaminathan on above email only if your application process is taking more than 5months...

Though i dont know lodging this complain will help me or not but still hoping that complain reachetMy applied for passport in nov. 2007, file ref. no. being z567879/07 but the online status is :- It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time. Her police verification and all was over by dec, but now its continuously showing the negligience of indian passport office. As against this the passport of her former and later ref. no. has been cleared. al oppurtunities because of this delay and negligience of passport authority of india. Please help me if someone is listening to this.

I have applied for new passport on 14th May, 2008. and all the formalities such as police enquiry etc have been sucessfully completed and relevant documents forwarded to SURAT PASSPORT AUTHORITY. I have been allocated Reference File No: SUR B[protected].

Sir, I have checked the status of my Passport on net but since 20th july, 2008 I am reading
the same reply that your passport will be despatched in a weeks time. Sir, I politely request you to please
check the status of my passport and do needful at your earliest, so that I can appear for IELTS EXAM AND
COMPLETE OTHER FORMALITIES TO BE DONE IN TIME FOR MY FURTHER STUDIES IN U.K.
