My grievance is that 6 months have passed, all my verification has been completed. 3 months back I was told by the Regional Passport Office Mumbai that all my verification is done and ok, and I will receive my passport within 10-15 days. From that day onwards I am continuously surfing the official website, the status there shows your application is in process. I have number of times put mail to '[protected]@nic.in' but in vain, as all mails send on this id bounces back. It is very sad, that in this country there is no system, there is no one to hear our grievance and resolve the same. I would like to ask who is central authority, and who takes the review of all the applications. Are they not bothered at all as to why applicants are not getting there passport on time. Is there any procedure to keep the applicant updated on his application status. Somebody please intervene and resolve my issue...

I believe there is no authorization given for the same.If there is the postman should have a copy attached with along with the signature.The said person is not in India as he holds a Canadian Passport.(Dual Nationality ).
Also is it possible for an Indian to hold both American and Indian Passport?

A complaint was said to the postmaster, to which he was talking in a bad way.
I have sent a registered letter to your office with regards to the same.

If things like these happen, which is and can be proved.

WHAT KIND OF SECURITY DO WE (INDIA) HAVE.

For instance can an Indian holding an Indian Passport and being a US citizen travel to Canada on a US passport.From Canada use the Indian Passport to come to India?
To find out this some investigations have to be done.
From my side I will try and give all information.

I hope for a reply for this is the third time I am asking these questions and no answers.
