[Resolved] Indian Postal Services — Theft of articles from Foreign Registered Parcels

I am collector of old Currency Notes. Recently I purchased some notes from E:Bay from USA and UK. These notes were mailed by Registered letter Nos. RB[protected]US on 19th Oct 09 from USA and RJ[protected]GB from UK on 30th Oct, 2009, to my address at Abhay Agrawal, A-6, Basant Vihar, Gwalior, 474007. Both these letters were delivered on 7th Nov, 2009, but the noted were stolen from the packets. In the past also, many such thefts have happened, for which I have formally lodged the complaint with the Post Office departement, but they just don't take any action. Most probably, the thefts are taking place at the Foreign Post receiving office at Mumbai. The thefts of articles from Foreign parcels is very common in INDIA, and all the staff of the Post Office is involved in these thefts. Because of these thefts, not many persons are willing to sent the goods to INDIA by post, which is really bringing bad name to our Nation. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (2)

unable to track our registered parcel

my postal code for register parcel is ACP[protected]IN. parcel is from chennai, tamilnadu, india to great Britain.sent on 28/10/2013.time 15.44.but still we didnt receive the post.please do needful.

Its a waste guys to complain. I recently had similar occurrence while sending parcel from U.S via usps they have collaboration with india post. Only if i knew before hand i wouldn't have sent it as u know they are vultures and thieves. Join me on a movement im starting on twitter @alimohammadham3. Postman dosen't deliver posts in the area for near about every 2 months

I would like to draw your attention towards our post office branch located at meri(nashik-422004). the postmen working in this branch don't even deliver our posts to respected homes at the right times they are supposed to.because of this we are not getting our important posts at the right time.

My friend from Oslo send me a wrist watch as gift by postal service on 29 July 2016 . I got it on 15th July 2016 but the package was tore and the postal custom stolen the watch from inside it. Please suggest me what to do now as I am very disappointed with Indian post.

Dear Sir /Madam,

I had a parcel - EP[protected]RU shipped from Biomedis.ru business partner from Russian federation, on14/4/2017 I received the parcel with letter stating that parcel was tampered while received from Delhi. When I opened the box, the product is missing and only box is present. Someone has stolen the product via transit, Please investigate the theft.

I am so disappointed with Indian post. Shame on them ! They don't know how to do their job but they sure know how to steal from people packages.I sent a parcel from usa to punjab thru usps which hands it over to third party which is india post. When my family got the parcel it was nothing but empty box with most of the stuff missing. Those people doesn't deserve to have there jobs since they are not only the culprits of robbing people but also playing with peoples emotions by stealing stuff send to their loved ones. Action required!

These people are thiefs. This my third time experiencing theft from indian postal service. I sent my 7year old niece a x'mas card with $ 100 in it. They opened the card and stole money. How can we do something? is there any investigation conduct this madness? last time they told her birthday gifts. This is not fair
