[Resolved]  Indian Railways — Complaint in online Ticket Reservation

Dear Sir,
I had apply for booking 3 Nos.in AC 2 Tier tickets in Train No 2307 Jodhpur Express on 4th July for the reservation for 2nd Feb.2008 at around 8.01 AM but surprisingly I had not got the ticket in one serial No. and all the tickets were upper birth. As my mother(SRCTZN) being travelling with me, it was not possible for me to travel with these seats.
So, around 8.20AM, I again booked tickets in 3rd AC and get the satisfactory seats.
I was very surprised when I got the ticket next day when I see that the ticket which I booked at 8.01(AC 2Tier) was shown that it was issued at 8.40AM and the ticket of AC 3tier which was shown the time of issue as 8.21AM.How it is possible.
Is there any manupulation?

i have book electronic reservation vide PNR Number [protected] on 11.01.2008.but Sr. citizen (84 years) seat alloted B2/11 i.e upper and for 49 year seat allted B2/13. And one reservation done vide PNR Number [protected] on 12.01.2008 for three pass.but seat alloted 2 in B1 & 1NO.B2.Please one option may be provide i.e. reservation done in same coach with as per our prefrence only.
I HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM IRCTC THAT A TICKET HAS BEEN BOOKED FROM MY ACCOUNT. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT NO BOOKING WAS MADE BY ME AGAINST THAT TRANSACTION ID NO. THE COPY OF EMAIL SENT ME IS ENCLOSED FOR YOUR READY REFERENCE. PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AT YOUR EARLIEST .

I was travelling by 1077 (Pune-Jammu Tawi Jhelum Express) June-07-2008. The PNR no. of my ticket is[protected].

I was on my pilgrim trip to Shirdi from where I was returning back to Delhi.

I was traveling with my wife and 3 year old daughter.

The ticket was booked for me and my wife with confirmed births (15 and 16 in coach number S6)
As we all know and stated in Indian Railways website: "The booking under Tatkal scheme is done only from originating to terminating point of the train with boarding facility

from intermediate station, my ticket was booked from end-to-end journey under Tatkal booking.

When I boarded the train from Kopargaon I found that one of my birth (Seat No. 16 in Coach No. S6) were sold by TTE Mr. S.C. DHIWAR (PUNE) to another person.

On talking with the passenger occupying my seat, he told that he has paid a big sum to the TTE to get this seat and he denied having any receipt of the payment made and proving

his ticket confirmation. He openly denied to leave my confirmed birth and kept occupying my seat forcefully. All this act was rudely supported by the TTE.

On talking to the TTE (S.C. DHIWAR) he said that the birth is already sold and my ticket[protected] is no longer vaild for any journey and he even threatened me and my family

to be thrown out of the train forcefully with the help of Railway Police. He even said that if you want a seat then you have to pay Rs 1500/-

This TTE (DHIWAR) left the train on Manmad and next TTE on duty came to the train. The new TTE never took any interest in the matter and said that he is not aware of any payment

that has been done to the previous TTE and he is not provided about any information of this seat. he didn't even took interest in removing that person from my seat.


This is very heinous act of corruption by the Railways official because of which me any me wife and 3 year old daughter has suffered throughout the 24 hour journey.

Request you to please probe in the matter and punish the guilty so that an example can be set for others. Also, you are requested to send me an update about the proceeding for

the matter.

Sir, I had gone for registration for booking E-tickets. But when iam typing my user ID and Password, it is giving that my user ID or pw are incorrect. i tried with the forgot passsword link also, but no use. please tell em how to register in correctly

On an average there are around 50 private / government buses are running between two major cities Mumbai and Hubli. The running time of bus between these two cities is around 13 hrs. The only train running daily in this route between these two cities is 'Chalukya Express' (1017) viz Miraj. And it takes around 15 hours. But, the destiny of this train is Bangalore and availability of seats for Hubli or Belgaum passengers is very much restricted and also the train has 13-15 coaches only. Whenever I tried to book the seats in this train well in advance (couple of weeks before) always it show 'Wait Listed'. Even though there is so much of movement of passengers on this route why the Indian railways has not thought of introducing a daily shuttle between these two cities. It has high potential of business for Indian railways. It will also serve the purpose of Begaum citizens another major city on this route. And running hours of this train also can be rescheduled / minimised so that it reaches Hubli in the morning hours rather than after noon hours. Senior citizens, ladies and families still prefer this train route because of comforts even though it takes slightly more hours. It is a request to authorities to think on this angle and introduce a shuttle between these two cities on daily basis like Mahalaxmi Express (to Kolhapur) the most popular train.

tatkal ticket book before 5 day but at that time i am out of country and also bussy

I have about the train running status on net is right or wrong because i found its totly wrong on 6/05/09 my relatives tried to catched the 4083, Mahanda Exp(05/06/20009).Its is late 13HRS Approx and given time on MOKAMEH station is 11.22HRS But it is not came and after updated its ETA gone ommited.Sir i want to know how it is possible where ever the not came.

Today I have go through ur site for tatkal quota seats on 10th july 2009 from Pune to bhubaneswar. But i found that seats are already sold by anyone means -it is showing REGRET/WL.

I booked a ticket in train no 14007 from sultanpur to delhi but train was 14 hours late. I filled TDR for refund my money but up to now not refunded my money.
please take necessary action and refund my money. At same date I travelled in shramjeevi express 12391. Which ticket I can show.
