Indiatimes Shopping — received a damaged product and after sending the details of damaged product no response from customer service

I have ordered for a Karbonn mobile on 26-sept-2012 and received the mobile on 4th oct-2012. The order no is [protected].
I received the mobile in damaged condition with the mobile box seal open. I informed the customer care, they said contact karbon service centre as it is under warranty. Karbon service centre is saying there is a physical damage for the screen panel and it does not come under warranty.
The times of india customer care is so pathetic that they repeat the same statement to go to karbonn service centre.
I a frustated calling the timescustomer care as they dont tell me how to get this problem resolved.
As per the customer service request I sent the snapshots of the damaged product and they created a case with id: 451275. As per the site this case should be closed by 7th Nov, so far I did not hear any thing from customer service.


Please help me how to rectify this issue?

Please tell me how can get a working mobile piece?
Do I get a new working handset? or should I forget the price I have paid?
I am ok to forget my money for a good cause but not to loose to such a fraud company delivering the damaged products?
Please help me how to rectify this issue?

Thank you for acknowledging my complaint,
It is only an eye wash action to acknowledge saying we will resolve the issue. So far I dont see any action taken on my complaint. I am hoping that you will take some action within weeks, as I am not expecting your service to be so fast to take action in days.
