[Resolved]  Irctc — no booking of tatkal tickets

It is relally annoying the common man to book the tatkal ticket. Availability is vanishing in 5 minutes and automatically turning into wait list. First of all reserving the so many tatkal tickets is nonsense. Railway has to review the tatkal scheme and do the favor to the public.

The tickets status move to a WL of 13 everyday after 5 mins of the opening of bookings. I tried booking ticket for Navajeevan express and ended up with the same WL status of 13 in 3rd AC, 4 in 2nd AC and the parody was that all the days it was the same status! I had to struggle to book the tickets and yet it was a pure waste. Within 5 minutes if all the tickets are vanishing, then what can you say about the system. I suspect fraud in this. Kindly look into this issue.

ya its true that the IRCTC site really sucks, and that it is intentionally done so. But, those who are responsible for it would be the least bothered no matter whatever we say in forums like this, so our attempt to get heard is most probably futile. The only gain is that we can vent our anger at such a rotten system.

It is ready true. After 8 AM in the morning, site crashed. 'Service Not avilable' message is coming. Verification code is also not loading.

Let ms mamta banerjee know this before she starts getting badwords from the people. please remind her that ministry is for working also not only to collect money, start trains fro west bengal. every time we fools get up early try to login at 8.00. but this truly desi outdated site always says SERVICE UNAVAILABLE. this seems to be some conspiracy by the site admin, railway employees and mamta banerjee herself to make tickets available to the agents. on the contrary in perdiod Lalu yadav, let go the corruption but atleast we never had such problems. request mr. manmohan singh oopps i am sorry i must say ms sonia gandhi to remove this mamta and bring back lalu.

We can encounter all types of problems some are,
1st it will pleasantly start with "Service Unavailable"
never lose your hope "try try try again and again"
It will suddenly get into next page with " Error on page" again don't lose hope restart again

I feel that there is some big scam is happening in the railways which is not still investigated
the agents can book for double cash but we are unable to even open
specially for tatkal booking the ticket booking via internet is "Service Unavailable" or "communication problem"
The railway ministry is not doing any to make it effective they are proud to say biggest railway network in world.
But its also true that Its the biggest Railway Network with
poor maintenance
poor administration
poor facilities
poor security
and offcours poor web site operations
We are not with a population of 50 we are with the population of 1.21 billion
This is not at all in agenda of any ministry all they want is vote and power to secure their families having bank deposits in Swiss banks and they have the power to oppose and challenge Supreme court.

How much the citizens of India have to compromise and tolerate for these politicians, bureaucrats, Rich and government employees

This India is for politicians and government employees if possible we have to live
So understanding this hard fact I will not complain on any thing
