[Resolved] Irctc — Non-refund of e-ticket cancellation | |
Sir/Madam I booked a e-ticket on 01-apr-09. PNR No. of the ticket is [protected]. Journey date of the ticket is 20.04.09. I cancelled the ticket on 13.04.09. I received an e-mail from IRCTC citing refund of Rs. 2786/- to my account on 15.04.09 at 12.00 am. But when I checked my account the amount was not credited to my account. I contacted my banker SBI enquiring about the refunded money but they told no money received from IRCTC. Then I wrote e-mail to IRCTC complaining non-refund of money against cancellation of ticket. They informed me that the money refunded to my a/c vide settlement id.[protected]. When I wrote e-mail again, they asked me to submit my account statement which I did but no response came from IRCTC. Then I called their help line no.[protected] few times. Every time they asked me the details regarding the ticket & told they forwarded my complaint to higher authority. But they did not let me speak to their higher authority to whom my case was referred. AT last I got one mail which is attached here < Dear Customer, Kindly note that we have refunded the amount as per the following details. Please contact your bankers for confirmation with the given details. I cancelled my e-ticket last month ie., 30th December 2008, but still no refund has been made even after several reminders.
Note:Already I was sent it my bank statement to you through mail for your kinds persual.
pls. kindly help me to refund that ticket amount. i await for your positive reply

i booked a ticket from Vijayawada to Chennai on 26 jan`2010 and my journey date was 28jan`2010.
but on the day 28 the train was late more then 8 hours. so, i catch some buses and came to chennai.
I file a TDR on 29th jan`2010, and waiting for my refund amount. now more then a month over, still the status is in process. when the process will get finish and when i get my money.
i called and ask railway customer care, but no replay from them.
kindly look into this mater and do the needful.

I tried to cancelled the ticket on 8/08/10.But chart was prepared ticket was not cancelled then I send an e-mail to IRCTC citing to cancel and refund the amount to my account But when I checked my account the amount was not credited to my account. I contacted my banker SBI enquiring about the refunded money but they told no money received from IRCTC.
Then I wrote e-mail to IRCTC complaining non-refund of money against cancellation of ticket.

I had booked ticket through OSS account on 03/07/10 date of journey 05/07/10, I have cancelled the ticket on 05/07/10 due to train running late by 8hrs due to Bharat Bandh. Against this ticket I recieved half amount of Rs.824 and rest of the amount till date I had not recieved. Several time I contact to irctc through mail. Once I even called to you office and I got replied that amount will be refunded by OSS. then I contacted OSS of this matter and they replied that if the train running late then the amount will be refunded half of the ticket total amount. So, here I ask you sir to reply on this matter because passenger have taken the full amount.I am running a travel agency here in guwahati.

IRCTC — non refund of cancelled tickets
I wish to bring to your notice that two tickets were cancelled by me but till date the amount is not refunded the PNR no and amount of both the tickets are as follows:-1) [protected] for Rs 842.00
2) [protected] for Rs 782
Further after talking to irctc customer care customer care they asked for scanned copy of my bank statement that also was sent but now it is more than one month also afer so many written & telephonic reminders no action was taken by them. Regards,

i had booked an i-ticket for 4 passengers viz.NAMES AGE STATUS
DOUGLAS SIMON 56 RAC
BINA SIMON 50 RAC
POOJA SIMON 25 RAC
NEHA SIMON 19 W/L
on 21-09-08 for netravati exp 6345 with PNR no.[protected] and ticket no. being 46066334
i got the ticket cancelled on 5-10-08 and the cancellation ticket no. is 91321279 but i have still not got the cash refund of Rs.6600/-credited to the credit card.
