[Resolved] Irctc — Non-receipt of Refund for cancelled e-ticket | |
Dear Madam/Sir, I had purchased an e-Ticket, details of which are written below : Transaction ID : [protected] PNR No. :[protected] Train No. & Name : 8409/SRI JAGANNATH EXPRESS Date Of Journey : 05/6/2008 From : HOWRAH To : PURI Date of Boarding : 05/6/2008 Boarding : HOWRAH Resv Upto : PURI Total Fare : Rs. 1570.00 Adult : 2 Child : 1 The above train had however been cancelled from Howrah due to Bandh in West Bengal. Subsequently I had cancelled the E-ticket on 05/06/2008 for the journey on the same date due to the above Bandh in W. Bengal. However since then I have not heard from IRCTC, nor received my Refund although the period of 90 days has long lapsed. You are requested to guide me in this regard. I had purchased an e-Ticket, details of which are written below:

The above train route was diverted from KGP to BBS due to heavy rain at Kharagpur.
Subsequently I had sent mail to [protected]@IRCTC.CO.IN on 19.06.08 for cancellation of above tickets and request for refund through e-mail dt 20.06.08 due to the train did not touch my boarding station.

IRCTC, Delhi had sent a Reminder 1 letter dt 21.11.08 to the Chief Commercial Manager/ Eastern Zone/Bhubaneshwar with a copy to me where he had mentioned about my request through email about my cancellation of the E-ticket and subsequently for the Refund.
However since then I have not heard from CCM, East Coast Railway, Bhubaneshwar, nor received my Refund although the period of 216 day have long lapsed.
You are requested to guide me in this regard.
