[Resolved]  IRCTC Indian Railways — Non-Receipt of Refund under TDR

Dear Sir,
I had booked eticket from IRCTC through their website www.irctc.co.in. The train was subsequently cancelled and I filed for TDR. The details are as under:

Its been almost a year now and I have not yet received the refund. Further, I want to cancell this Credit Card but am not able to do so since refund will be creditted to it.

Please help me on this.

Indian Railways — Non receipt of refund

Dear Sir/Madam,

We had purchased the eticket thru IRCTC. Due to some reason we had cancelled the eticket on 03-Jun-2006

PNR No. [protected].

Its now completed 6 mnths today as the max time is taken by IRCTC for this refund.

Inspite of the repeated phone calls / email by you through the various correspondence in last 3 months ,we are yet to get the refund.

kindly help us to getting the refund from Railways.

Hi,

This is Prateek Dhanuka from Noida .I had purchased an e ticket for travelling from Delhi to Lucknow for Nov 18th 2007 for 2 passengers .My PNR No. was [protected].The train was delayed for more than 4 hrs and we finally decided to cancel out trip as the purpose for which we were going would have been not fulfilled if we would have reached late .

But to my horror there was no facility of cancelling the eticket an so i was asked to mail this to IRCTC Customer care which i did and instead of repeated reminder emails and letters by IRCTC to the Eastern Railway where this case has gone for refund has fallen on deaf ears .I have been contacting people here in Delhi and even called up several times in Kolkata also but every time i am assured of something being done .

But till date no refund has come and there is nobody to listen to the customer .That is what Laluji 's railways is and he talks of all kinds of improvements etc etc ehich i think is all crap .

Please help me if you can in getting back my refund .

IRCTC — TDR under process

Dear Sir,

A TDR was been filed by me on dated 28th Oct 2008 due to the train delay on date of journey i.e. 27th Oct 2008. The statement I had from IRCTC my account it shows that it is still under process but it's almost 7 months completed but I still waiting for my amount to be credited in my account. The refund is not received even after nearly one year. Repeted follow ups with IRCTC has yielded no results.
IRCTC is a rip off. They are stealing money from people. No refunds even if its their fault from the server. We definitely need another stable website for train bookings. I recommend you not to use this website again.

Indian Railways — Non Receipt of TDR refunds

Dear Sir/Madam,

As per rules of railways one should get refund as per TDR within 60 days after filing TDR but till date i have not received the said sum and its pending fro 3 journeys which were not done

Their respective details are as below

Please let me know the competent department which is looking into this matter along with the email ids where i should be lodging my complaints

Indian Railways — Non receiving of Refund

Dear sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that I have booked my e-ticket on February 23, 2009- for the journey of two persons on date Febrauary 25, 2009 by train BSB Express (Train No. 4236/BE) (PNR No. [protected])Further i would like to inform you that due to some reasons I was unable to board my train on that particular day and therefore I filed a TDR on the very subsequent day(i.e[protected] as per the guidelines mention on the website of Indian Railwyas for the procedure of cancellation of E-ticket.

I have yet not received my refunadable amount from the indian railways, as per the information available on the site of Indian railways the time duration is of 30 days. Whereas It has been almost 6 mts till date that i have not received any communication or refund from them.

I would atleast require a update on the website the amount refunded and date by when it would be paid.

I missed my the Rajdhani express for Kolkata (howrah) from New Delhi on the 21st of August, 2009 due to heavy rains. The irtc agent with whom I had booked my tickets say that the railway authorities do not refund e-tickets after charts have been prepared. This is OUTRAGEOUS because there is something called TDR filing. This is the biggest scam i have heard...just think how many people cannot travel due to various emegencies, does that mean their money goes just like that...this is a SCAM.
Welcome to the world of non responsible Indian Railways. It is almos a year and upteen number of e-mails that I have send to the railways refund board still till date I have no clue as to when I will get my refund. I had registered my Complaint on 24/10/2008
