[Resolved]  Irctc — poor service

I boarded A.P.Exp,vide pnr[protected],coach no A 1, Berth no29 on24-6-12.The attendant sri B.Venkata swami,refused to give
Napkin.When i wanted to lodge complaint he became furious and even refused to disclose his name,Fearing action stated his name wrongly
as Venkatesh.When i insisted to change the pillow cover & blanket as they were already used by occupants, it was also rejected.

I request the authorities to lodge my complaint and redress the grievance,by informing the action taken on him.

Dear Sir,

Now a Days service of irctc has become so poor. Neither they post the message on their website that "CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT BOOK TICKETS FROM IRCTC ONLINE BETWEEN THE TIME (08:00 TO 10:00) nor they are trying to improve the server capability. In case o[censored]rgency of a customer, if he want to make a tatkal ticket, he cann't obtain the same as every time website message found "SERVICE UNAVAILABLE". If he could reach the booking screen somehow, then all the available tickets would sold out.

In booking counter also, the security person also not co-oprating with the customers as they took bribes and made enter to those people secretly in the hall prior to open the main gate. I am special talking about the case at "Railway counter near to Sect-22, Noida, UP". Customer has to wait there from 12:00 am night, just to get a ticket booked for his urgency.

Just suggest us how we could plan our travel, if the same situation will go on. Even I had tried to contact irctc customer care, they said their server is working fine, and instruct us to get a fast internet service and some ridiculus answers.

Its our humble request please look into the matter, as lots of customers are suffering.
i am travelling in train number 8473 on 5. 2. 9 from nagpur to jaipur . There are rats in the ac coach . There are insects in the coach. The done serve by the pantry car staff is worst and after asking about the complaint book they told that the complaint book is with the TT.. After asking the same from

Every year the service and condition of Netravati (train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Trivandrum and back) is getting from bad to worse.

We usually travel by 3 tier AC to and fro Kerala, but for a change I booked for our return trip from Kollam on March 20th on 2 tier AC thinking that the journey will be a premium trip and my family will enjoy it. To my disappointment the Rs. 1600 I paid extra over the 3 tier AC (for three 2 tier tickets) was completely wasted. As there was no difference between 2 tier and 3 tier. The only notable difference was the curtains in between. But on the contrast the bed sheets were torn. The railway pantry boys who are usually bad turned out to be horrible as they were just bumping onto us, back answering when we would say something like "We dont need wada". When we passed over a torn tape-applied currency note received from one pantry boy to another, he wont accept it.

This was not the end. The Air condition was not functioning. We were offered seat no. 17,18 and 20. I had to tell the Ticket Checker 5 times before he got a AC technician and checked the AC vent and found out that someone had closed the AC vent manually and hence our cabin space was not getting enough cooling.

This was not the end the train was very much unclean. We could find cockroaches every where.
There is nothing called housekeeping to check the cleanliness after a journey is over. We found banana peel left on the bottle holders. Almost felt like puking on seeing it.

I was completely unsatisfied that our return trip after paying more than Rs. 5000 for three passengers was went down the drain.

If the consumer complaints board could help people like me take up the matter with IRCTC I am ready to furnish details of my ticket so that we can help other passengers not to undergo this kind of service.

I booked 2 tickets from Patna to Delhi. My train details:

Date of Journey : 26-May-2015 From : PNBE To : ANVT
Boarding At : PNBE Date Of Boarding : 26-May-2015 Reservation Upto : ANVT
Total Fare of 2 persons was Rs. 3324.94 which includes food also. But it was not given, Infact a bottle of water was also not given. The train was 8 hours late. The washroom was very dirty and it was stinking. It was pathetic.

While returning from Delhi to Patna. My ticket Details:

Total fare of 2 persons was Rs. 4824.94 which includes food also. But this time also it was not given. The washroom was very dirty. The train was late.

I want indian railways to do something and give my some compensation. If food was not to be served then why they included it ? I want a reply.
