I HAVE TODAY [16.08.2012] BOOKED E TICKET FROM CHENNAI EGMORE TO MADURAI JUCTION BY PANDYAN EXPRESS TRAIN NO.12637 FOR THE JOURNEY TO BE UNDERTAKEN ON 06.11.2012 USING MY CANARA BANK ATM CARD [CANARA BANK PAYMENT GATEWAY] . BUT TO MY DISMAY EVENTHOUGH THE AMOUNT OF RS.170/= HAS BEEN DEBITED TO MY ACCOUNT[ I AM BEING A SENIOR CITIZEN] NO TICKET HAS BEEN BOOKED BY IRCTC AND UNDER THE HISTORY OF REFUND OF FAILED TRANSACTIONS IT IS DISPLAYED AS 'TRANSACTION NUMBER [protected]" SETTLEMENT REQUESTED AND PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED FROM THE BANK' I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS HAPPENED WHEN THE AMOUNT IS DEBITED TO MY ACCOUNT WITH RS.170/= . SAME IS THE EXPERIENCE WHENEVER I USE THE CANARA BANK ATM DEBIT CARD. THE REASON FOR SUCH FAILURE IS TO BE FOUND OUT AND ANY ANAMOLY TO BE NIPPED IN THE BUD ITSELF. ARRANGEMENTS TOBE MADE IMMEDIATELY FOR REFUND OF RS.170/= TO MY SB ACCOUNT FORTHWITH. Was this information helpful? | |||
