[Resolved]  Irctc — sudden deactivation of irctc user id

I am using the irctc online reservation facility and got irctc user id and passward and the facility ie.,booking and cancelling the e-tickets of trains. Suddenly, the irctc authoriteis have deactivated my irctc user id. Due to unavaidable circumstances, the tickets booked under my irctc user id crk_1963, have to be cancelled. But I could not get it done and the authorities informed thorugh mails, that should be done only through email which was furnished in my profile. As the email furnished in the profile was not accessing now and got another email (rediffmail) ([protected]@rediffmail.com). Inspite of requesting several mails, the irctc authorites could not respond properly. Hence, kindly appropriate action may be taken against the IRCTC authorities. The cancellation of tickets worth Rs.6,000/-

My case is same as of chandana. Mine also deactivated suddenly. I booked tickets worth of approx. Rs11, 000/- in my id. I could not able to cancel it. The worst response from IRCTC. Please suggest me to get my money back.

My user id rkg4699 also decativated by quoting wrong reason that I have claimed TDR wrongly.
No perosn available to answer my question in IRCTC...can any body provide me the correct contact deatils where I can lodge complain agianst them., Customer care is not responding at all.

My user-id also got deactivated. They(IRCTC) are saying that a person should not have two user-id's
Why is IRCTC harassing us like this. By deactivating a user-id, IRCTC is encouraging people to create more user-id's. This will in turn create a problem. Thay have put a ceiling on monthly bookings(10).
Do they feel that people will travel only 10 times a month? Many people travel more than 20 times a month. Why don't they revise that ceiling? If they would have increased that ceiling to 20, many people wouldn't have created additional user-id's.

Did they ever think about the facilities that are being provided by them?
What kind of facilities irctc is providing in their canteens?
Non hygienic food is being served in many places at very high price.
Did they ever conducted a customer feed back survey?
More fraud is done through offline bookings than online bookings.
To cover all their inabilities they are doing these kind of Deactivations.

This is really a harassment from IRCTC.
I have the same problem. I had to travel and realised that the tickets cannot be printed. Wrote to customer care ([protected]@irctc.co.in) - they wanted the PNR No- obviously I do not memorise PNR nos of tickets I book and without web access, I cannot retreive them. I replied as such - now they want the transaction ID - how do I remember this also? Ultimately made a call to Chennai Call Centre - learnt that number itself has been deactivated. Called Delhi by STD and after 3 calls, got my tickets by email. Now I can travel - but need to cancel my return - God save me from Railways.

Delhi Call Centre Lady advised me to re- register anew. Tried. But if the address is same or email ID is same or user ID is same - regitration is refused. Looks like I have to use a False name, false ID, false email to register. IRCTC will only encourage frauds and prevent genuine passengers from travelling in Railways or do they expect us to go and stand in long queues like the olden days. IRCTC wants to take India back to 19th Century! God Save India.
