Irctc — ticket booking fraud | |
Guys myself Vishal and i made a booking from hyderabad to vizag using irctc tatkal process and while making the booking the transaction failed and that was for godavari express which was available for confirmation, however as the transaction failed i made a booking through garibrath which was under wait list and that ticket was successful for wait list and i got a msg from bank stating amount got debited from my account, however after 5-6hrs i get a msg from banker saying amount is debited from my account towards godavari express and i arranged sleeper class bus from travels as the garibrath was under wait list and when i got a confirmation towards godavari i called up the cust care of irctc and spoke to MS> NEETA OR NEETU and she told me to cancel the tatkal ticket and send email to irctc and refund will get processed as the technical issue was der was their website. I followed the same procedure and later cust care ppl decline d for refund saying as per railway rules tatkal ticket cannot be refunded no matter whatever is the situation and when i escalated it further and had discussions with supervisors nobody was able to help me inspite of their employee provided wrong communication. If she would have told me that ticket would not be refunded i would have cancelled the sleeper class bus and travelled by godavari express itself. When i sent emails to them they do not respond, when i sent email to their AGM RAJIV GUPTA he doesn't reply at all. With my sources i got his mobile number and i called him up and had a word with him he says we conveyed to you what we want and we cant do anything, being AGM he is so least bothered to even reply to emails what customer send to them. Such kind of persons should not be in system who cant communicate with the people who are paying their company out of which he is earning his bread and butter by taking the salary. If we do not use this mode of booking tickets then these people will not even have jobs as they are not doing their jobs correctly and says we are sorry for the mistakes done by their own employees. I wish the contract should end soon with these people. As this is a govt based company they are so much least bothered as they got the money already out of me. But guys be rest assured if these people will not refund me, trust me Indian Railways is going to have big time loss from my end which will happen very soon. When you call this call center, ensure you record the calls as this people will provide false information in most of the cases. Was this information helpful? | |
