[Resolved] Karvy Insurance — Wrong Information given to sell a Insurance policy | |||
Karvy Gorakhpur Branch, organized a camp in BHEL Jhansi Township during end of Jan2011. In this camp they called the individuals on phone that they have been selected for one year free insurance and may come to the camp to collect the same. After 2nd reminder when we went to the camp on 20.01.2011, Mr Shailesh Rizhwani [protected] & Mr Mahendra Tolani [protected] explained me about the Karvy insurance sevice. After getting my details, they proposed me the TATA AIG Life insurance. In this they gave me the wrong feed back about the plan. According to them after 5 years of policy, i will get the periodic cash payment of 5% of the Face Amount, after 10 year I will get the 10% and after 20 years I will get the 15% of the face value, also this policy will cover insurance of both Insurance holder & nominee. In case of death of the policy holder the periodic cash payment will be given to nominee. Also along with this scheme we will get the lifelong free Karvy Insurance membership. But when we received the TATA AIG Policy documents, It is categorically written in their documents that 5% of the face value only will be payable in 10th year of the policy. My policy details are given below After that I talked to Mr Shailesh Rizhwani on phone. He insured that I will get the documents related to above scheme with a month. But till date I have not received any documents. Now I am trying them on phone/ mobile, but they are not lifting the mobiles. Karvy Insurance — Forged Insurance Policy issued, against the terms with National Insurance
My parent (Senior citizens) were issued the insurance policy by Karvy Insurance Co. Karvy stated at the time of insurance that it has tie-ups with National Insurance Co. for the insurance covers and therefore it accepted the money by cheque and also issued the Health Insurance I-Cards to them.After around 10 months, my father suffered from Oral Cancer and when we submitted the claim to them, the National Insurance people replied us to submit the Karvy Customer ID. We submitted the I-Cards as issued by Karvy. But they still insisted for certain customer ID of Karvy, which we were not aware of. We contacted Karvy for this issue and lodged the complaint.
No one replies for this matter. National Insurance says that it will close the complaint in absence of this Karvy Customer ID.
We do not know now what to do? It seems Karvy has willingly taken up the money and cheated us for this case.
