[Resolved]  Kingfisher Airlines — Cheating and Deceiving Customers

I had bought Kingfisher Class tickets from Mumbai to Guwahati and back. I clearly paid for a Kingfisher Class ticket, and they gave me a Kingfisher Class ticket, but they put me on a Kingfisher Red, the Deccan Airlines taken over by Kingfisher. There obviously is a difference in Class of service between these two airlines, which is also understood from the name "Kingfisher CLASS". Nonetheless, even after complaining the first time, they apologised but failed to tell me that my return ticket would also be the same, and so I ended flying Kingfisher Deccan airlines while returning even after complaining the first time.
What really infuriates me is that there were passengers on flight who had bought Kingfisher Deccan tickets a week back and so it definitely was not a last minute change of flight and secondly even after I complained asking them why they didnt inform me, they apologised but failed to let me know that my return flight would be the same. They verbally offered me a thousand rupees as settlement which I refused and now they refuse to entertain or respond to my repeated complaints. I have sent the complaints to the head Mr. Vijay Mallya, whose personal mail is obviously read by subordinates and disposed off before being read by Mr Vijay himself or perhaps he is ignoring it himself.

Its just another Indian Company earning profits by cheating and deceiving the public. Spending crores on advertisements but nothing on customer service unless ofcourse you travel first or executive class, which means you're rich and therefore they're concerned.

Deccan Airlines — Threatening consumer service!

I had booked a ticket on 18th Jan 2008 in Air deccan for the Delhi - Kulu flight. This was for my friends Priyanka Baveja and Tarun Baveja. Though the check in formalities were completed the flight did not take off causing inconvinience to the passangers. Subsequently we had requested for a refund. It has been now 2 months that Air Deccan is sitting on my money.

I had requested for the refund on the same day (18th Jan 2008) and subsequently have made several calls since then. I was finally given a case number (# 123899) and was promised refund in 3 days and the same has not yet happened.

I have made this payment through my card and I have already incurred Rs. 1400/- as latefee and interest on this behalf on my card. This is entirely the fault of Airdeccan. Request you to look into the matter and clear this issue ASAP.

You ptobably are unware of the facts about this airlines. There are 3 categories of Flight :
1. Kingfisher First
2.Kingfisher Class
3.Kingfisher Red
While the first one " Kingfisher First " is a full Service Flight and therefore offers free meals and all the luxury, the other two category being that of limited service and no frill flights. The only difference between Kingfisher Class and Kingfisher Red is that they serve free meals on Kingfisher Class as opposed to no frills in Kigfisher Deccan.

You got the service what you paid for. Have you checked the fare of Kingfisher First ? You will know why you got the service that you had paid for.

If you manage to 'read' again, I have expressly mentioned my grievance on the services provided for Kingfisher CLASS against Kingfisher RED. If you "Read" again, I have no where mentioned about Kingfisher First. So please before you lecture to me about how "we" love to complaint without doing the necessary ground work, I suggest you follow the same.
And as for your other pathetic arguments, which now if you have managed to "read" will realize have absolutely no rational nor meaning. As you have pointed out yourself that K CLASS has meals while K RED does not, I must inform you that it logically means there is difference in the service provided and if you have ever travelled by either you will also have noticed, I assume you would if you did, that there is an entertainment unit RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. If you didn't know what that was for I'm just sorry for you.
So in simple common sense.. yes take yr time to think, its different service being provided, congratulations. That was step one. Step two, because of different service they... but naturally have different rate, with higher rates for better service. Shocking??...its called economics, remember? (Perhaps school??)
So... I paid for one, obviously the better, whereas, they gave the other without informing me.
Now have I managed to make you understand? If not yet, your a FOOL!!

Its still same for Kingfisher Airlines.. I believe most of their flights are fake. I have traveled three times from Mumbai <> Lucknow with this airlines. Each time they cancel the flight few hours before the departure and ask to travel via Delhi, increasing my journey to 7 hours from 2 hours. Two hours wait at IGI is frustrating but they don't have explanation to situation. Similar to K. Mao, I've also raised complaints to Kingfisher authorities. I am sure that they wont ever reply as such flight doesn't exist. They just put on such flight details to bound customers seeking direct flight and at last moment cancel it out.. So, please beware of Kingfisher. Now, I'm travelling with Air India and Indigo direct flights.
I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED BY KINGFISHER AIRLINES..I WAS BOARDING FOR SINGAPORE I HAD THE PASSPORT AND BOARDING PASS BUT AT THE DOOR THEY SAY SORRY YOU ARE LATE BY 2MINTS, NOW WE CANNOT GO..ISN'T TOO MUCH THAT TOO I WAS THE FIRST CLASS PASSENGER ?? Kingfisher Airlines — No complimentary meal service

Kingfisher airlines sucks. My aunt booked a full fare ticket and was NOT given any complimentary meal as other airlines do. All she was served was a stale and pathetic sandwich which she gave back to the cabin crew. Similar case occured when my brother travelled the next day on full fare. What's happening?? If there was a policy change, Kingfisher should have intimated customers! SERIOUS FAIL!! Will never fly KF again.
