[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance Company Ltd. — Mis Sold and Misguided by Kotak Agent

Dear Sir,
I, Mr. Bharat Chandra Das had been misguided and misleaded by one of your authorised agent named Mr. Dip Bhowal (Agent Code[protected]. Last year on 29rd March 2011, Mr. Dip Bhowal had came to me to make one insurance policy, but at the time of doing the policy he told me that there was excellent scheme of fixed return of 12% p.a from Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company with 80C and 10(10D) benefit of Income Tax Act 1961. He had given me one computerised printing showing all the details of what he told me. When I told him that I was Disabled Ex-Serviceman & retired employee of Military of 73 years old and I am not interested in any type of Insurance policies, then only he had given me that fixed scheme. He only make me one signature in the proposal form with a cheque of Rs. 100,000/-(One Lakh Only). I was hopeful to get 12% return and then I went to my native place in Assam. After coming back from Assam after six months I got the policy bond in my hand from my wife. I was really shocked to see a lot of signature of mine had been done by the agent at various place. Moreover he had made a regular policy with annualised premium of Rs. 100,000/- .When I contacted him regarding this he had just told me that I will get the interest very soon and moreover when asked about the annualised premium he told me that it was the internal policy and not what I am thinking. When I showed the policy bond to your Kolkata office they told me I am right what I had thought. I told them what can I do now. They suggested to run the policy with giving another two premium and then withdraw after 5 years. Being a retired person it is not possible for me to pay another two lakh for the consecutive year. My earnest request to you, please refund my hard earn money so that I can make fixed deposit to get the regular return to run my family, otherwise I will be forced to go to the consumer forum and IRDA to get justice. Moreover I will request you not to give agency code to this type of fraud people who misguide the people for his own benefit. Now when I am giving him call he just not picking up my phone.
