[Resolved]  Lee Cooper/shoes — Defective shoes

I Kaushal R. Shukla purchased a pair of Lee Cooper Shoes Model- LC0441 in Brown Colour on 16 Dec-2009 from Legend Square Shop, Add- Fortune Hotel Galaxy Campus, N.H.8, G.I.D.C., Vapi- 396195, Tel. No.:[protected], Bill No.: CS9/14928 for Rs. 2085/-. After couple of weeks I saw that the sole of the shoe started cracking, on 03-Jan-2010 I registered a complaint to the shop, complaint slip No. 410 regarding the problem in the shoes. They told me to leave the shoes to the shop & registered the complaint & told me that they will call me back after communicating to the manufacturer. After multiple inquiries by me (They did not called me once also) finally on 16-Feb-2010 almost after 45 days of complaint I got the reply that they have called the sole from the factory & will handover to me. I will have to fix it from anywhere else. I don't understand that after spending 2K & so on a best brand I have to suffer this much. Can you help me out or should I think this is the customer relationship policy of the company?

I am facing the same problem as Mr. Kaushal described in his complaint. i think my Shoes is of same model and same price, except they are of black color. I bought them in Tropical Footwear at Dadar TT on November 1, 2009. I discovered just a few days ago, i.e. at the beginning of March a Crack developed in the sole of Right shoe. My father is also using a Lee Cooper but different model from last 4 years and they are still like new. Now this makes him wondering too what has happened to Lee Cooper. I have already given the shoes for repair but I suspect that I might get the same treatment as Mr. Kaushal described. I think a written e-mail as well as direct meeting on the given address of company should yield some positive results. But the fact remains that once a Best brand in the shoes is now delivering very poor quality of product to its customers. Its time for Lee Cooper also to think about its market in India.

I purchased a Lee Cooper shoe model No LCO856 Size 43 from Pantaloons Retail india Ltd, Zirakpur vide receipt no.T16/1602 dt 26/7/09, it was with medicated sole, having air flow system. One of them air system failed and droped inside. It was not changed by the Pantaloon Retail India ltd. Pls solve my complaint.

had bought lee copper shoes from store at lucknow. dated 07.05.10

and the leather stating coming off after that, had retured the shoes on 12.05.10 but till now they are saying tht the shoe can not be replaced.

My Name is Sameer Gaikwad from Bangalore India. I am the regular user of Lee cooper shoes from last 15-20 years, but I had a bad experience about the shoes quality in my last purchase.

I had purchased the Lee cooper shoes from Reliance footprint outlet (Indiranagar Branch- Bangalore, India) on 6th Dec 2009. The sole of the shoes got the cracks within the 4-5 months time. As per the mentioned in the purchase bill, for such problem, we have to contact store manager after that I had contacted him & but he is clearly refused to repair or replace the same. He has made an argument that the shoes having only 3 months warranty period from the date of purchase. They have neither mentioned about 3 months warranty period at the time of purchasing nor on their purchasing bill/shelf where they have put the lee cooper shoes.

I hope you will help us & will give right approach for this problem.

If require, I will send the all required documents alongwith the photo of shoes to you.



I hope as a premium Brand, lee cooper will take appropriate action towards the customer satisfaction.

I purchased a pair of lee cooper shoes at Walk in Style, Velacherry main Road, Chennai-600 042. though i purchased it a year before, i seldom use the shoe., but now one of the shoe's sole was broken in the heal part.The sole's material composition is not good. I contact the shop owner, explained the matter.He sent the shoe to the authorities.after 15 days he said he cannot do anything! A wellknown brands attitude is not satisfactory indeed!!

I purchased a shoe from lee cooper and the sole of my shoe cracked which is now un repairable.I contacted a few showrooms of leecooper but they denied to repair.They said it need a sole replacement which would again half the amount i spent on the shoe.Lee cooper lacks customer service a durability.

I have been a regular patron of Lee Cooper Shoes when you all launched in India since late 90’s! The quality of shoes was so superb with tough leather and the weight of shoes were the USP; besides the shoe sole that were so rugged that it hardly used to worn off even after 2-3 years o[censored]se... However, since last few years, I am finding it difficult to use your shoes as the shoe soles not even last for 6-7 months (Product deterioration is a Unique Innovation to enhance repeat purchase or a strategy to divorce the Brand)? These shoes were bought from Lifestyle Store, R-mall, Mulund (W).

In such a scenario, do I have an option other than to switch to a competitive brand for my future purchases??

Can I at least expect a call from any of your Indian Officials (if not a solution) or will you just discard this message, as well?

Same is the case with ME.

1 month & shoe has started to loose leather layers ... Point to notice is that I hardly have any rough walking ...

Brand has lost it's value ...

I have purchased the shoes 3 month back, at METRO SHOES, JODHPUR OPP. RAILWAY STATION .
after 2 months i observed the place where the sole and internal leather joint is splittung. fully cracked internal lether . I contect shoes store but no response if you not provide six month warranty then why we purches lee coper.
by this i decided not to purchase the lee coopers shoes.

I purchased my Lee Cooper shoe from Metro, Chennai, TNagar, the sole now cracked and pieces detached from the soles. Its unusable now. I contacted Metro and enquired to repair but, they do not have the same model sole to fit this sheos. And the replacement charge is Rs.425 which will take a month time. Later i came to know that they gave me an old model ( thick Sole- Rs.2395) shoe and its production was stopped in 2008-09. I was having the same model earlier, whish ihad used for 2+ years without any problem.
