I totally agree about the services provided by LG is veryvery bad. . They are not responding clearly and quickly.. Simply they are forwarding the responses. They should improve the Customer SErvice area. Then only they can get good support from consumers. Otherwise they may lose their brand and services quality;

I have also been facing problem with LG 308 VE 5 refrigerator since purchase in 2011. The dealer informs that LG is fully aware that the design has problems, They have replaced the fridge for several customers. At the same time, they did not see the need to inform other customers and replace their units.
The concerned individuals have not acted in the best interest of the company and customers.
Faulty design - No attempt to inform customers - No attempt to recall - the conduct befits only a small outfit in underdeveloped economy. LG brings bad name to all Korean products by irresponsible conduct.

LG - 2 Door Refrigerator — Bad Service and quality of Product
Hi,I purchased a LG two door refrigerator in Jan 2009, and within 1.5 years it has started giving problems.
Some of the times, there was no cooling in main body of refregerator and only freezer was working. This happened lot of times and finally it stopped cooling (only freezer was working).
I registered a complaint, they committed me that the techincian will be availble within 24hrs for the repiar.
However there was no one who attended the issue. After repeated calls to LG customer care a techincian arrived on the fifth day to repair.
The main reason being the issue with the timer. Timer needs to be replaced. I asked them it shoudl be replaced free of cost. But they said no, since the warranty has expired. I said ok, lets replace it at the cost. But I asked whats the warranty of the timer. Technician said its only one month. I dont remember any high value product with so less warranty.
I think LG itself is not confident about the quality of their products. I am spending Rs. 600 extra for the timer and LG is not ready to give good warranty. 1 month is a bull .
I dont know how much replacements I have to do in future and how much I have to pay for it.
We have also used other refrigerators like Godrej, Kelvinator but there was no issue for years together. Its almost 17 years we have purchased a Kelvinator, there was no issue till now (only we got the bulb replaced).
This time i made a mistake by purchasing the LG refrigerator. For Others I seriously wont recommend LG products. Product quality and Service both are very bad.
