[Resolved]  LIC HFL — Floating rate of interest - Home Loan

Dear Sir,

I had taken a home loan from LIC HFL (Gurgaon Branch) 1 year back. Total loan of 30,00,000 at floating Rate of 10.8%.

In the past 1 year, interest rates have come down by 1%. But my floating rate of interest has not moved.

LIC HFL says they will not reduce Rate of Interest of its existing customers. Reduced interest rates are only for new customers.

Then whats the meaning of FLOATING rate of interest?

I know that i can shift my loan to some other bank at reduced rate of interest.

Why LIC HFL do not pass reduced rate of interest to its existing customers?

LIC HFL is cheating its existing customers.
