sir,
i am LIC policy holder no.[protected] in Jalpaiguri circle. Today i went to your newly opened Branch in Jaigaon in Jalpaiguri Dist. with my SBI cheque of 30422 /-, but the Branch manager Mr.Alakh Lama didn't accept my cheque. He told me that to pay in cash or in draft.
I know cheque are accepted in all your branch but he showed his rules more than the rules made by LIC of india.
When i came with the cash arrangement at 4 o'clock the cash counter was closed. Today was my last date for payment, what will happen to my policy i don't know, but i am planning to close my all the policy because of the person like Mr. Alakh Lama.
I[censored] think LIC of India is above Mr. Alakh Lama, then you will take action against him, otherwise i am here to file legal suit against your Insurance Company and this person and if necessary i will go to your Athority because i felt harrashment and the Shame.

the same thing is there, i m also unsatisfied with l.i.c. response. because my father shri bheem singh dabhi also having policy no.[protected] matuerd on dated 1/1/2009 and this policy was undertaken in the scheme " Own Your Home "in[protected], but the loan was not taken and policy bond, house titled as sequirity were taken by l.i.c and now after maturing policy, l.i.c needs our policy bond for giving matured premium amount. but now question arises that how can they say like that because l.i.c. already has our policy bond given by us..
so now i thing its really shame on l.i.c a reputed firm, and we can't expect from l.i.c such like activities and its really mently and physically harrashment given by l.i.c. to our family.and still we are not found any kind of positive response from l.i.c.and their branch officers, so its not my request but its a my fundamental right to say about such matter to solve out from l.i.c., otherwise they have to pay for it.and still we didnot get any satisisfied response from l.i.c..
