[Resolved]  Madhur Courier, Gwalior — non delivery of document for last 7 days

I had sent a documents to my father in law, who is staying in Kolkata, through Madhur Courier, Gwalior on 30/12/08.While enquring on 07/01/09, I found that the document did not reach the destination and the courier agnecy called up my father in law to collect the document from Howrah which is appox 30 km from my in laws house and father in law being a 63 yrs old person he requested them to deliver the same at the provided address which they bluntly declined.When I called up the agency here in Gwalior, they told me that they dont have the delivery facility at Birati, Kolkata(Pin code-700051) and some has to get the document collected from Howrah.when I countered them with the question that why did not they informed me the same at the time of the booking.I got a reply that i should have checked with them whether they can deliver the docs at Birati, Kolkata or not and it is not their responsibilty to each and every destination.The courier agency not just only refused to help me, also told that I can go to any consumer forum but wont find any help from them.The courier agency detail is provided below.
