[Resolved] Mahindra Duro Dz — despite being in warranty, charged
I bought a Mahindra Duro Dz bike on Mrch 2012. My bike battery went out of order. I my warranty card it is mentioned that battery is under warranty for 1 year from the date of purchse of the bike. However, now they are saying that the warranty is for 1 year from the date of the manufacture of the battery and not the bike. Tis is definately cheating, as when i go to buy the bike i cannot look for manufaturing date of the parts of the bike. I had to pay for the battery. I had purchased the bike form the vendor called Navneet Motors from Panvel, navi Mumbai. The contact number of navneet Motors is[protected], they did not cooperate at all when contacted. Exide also rejected the request saying they give warrnaty fro 1 year from the date of maufacture of the battery. Please help me in this regard. This is total fraud and i want to not only safeguard myself but also others who might be facing similar problem beacuse of such cheating Thank you Shankar choudhary Belapur Navi mumbai Was this information helpful?
