Distinguished Sir,
The Captioned Mahindra Scorpio VLX Top Model was purchased from your Dibrugarh Dealer, M/S. R.D.Automobiles, Natun Gaon, Dibrugarh for a cost of about Rs.11Lacs. There was much fanfare and celebration as it was eagerly expected that the purchase of the said vehicle would usher a new era in the family, and also ease transportation problems in our business.
We deeply regret to announce that the purchase of the said vehicle has let us down and ever since its delivery on the 14th June, 2010 we have been stranded in the middle of a desolate road time and again. Our business and family life has been hampered, and the purchase of the vehicle has been defeated as many a times we have been forced to hire a vehicle due to stranding of the vehicle. The purchase of the vehicle has been financed out of a Bank Loan, and we are facing difficulties in meeting our repayment schedule, as the car is not working as per expectations.
Our initial complaint that the engine was overheating, was politely answered by your dealer, that this is a general phenomenon with similar Company Cars. On the 12th July, 2010, the vehicle was stranded in the middle of National Highway No.37 in a desolate location. The dealers mechanic was brought in, and after tugging, towing and pushing he some how managed to start the vehicle. On the 13th July, 2010, the car was supposed to have been repaired and delivered to us at 6 P.M. in the evening.
Again on the 14th July, 2010, the car again stopped in the middle of the road, after hardly traversing 1 Km. The dealer mechanic was brought in and the car was towed to the dealer Workshop.
Ever since the car is lying in the premises of the dealer. Your Dealer, M/S R.D.Automobiles, has suggested that the engine needs a replacement.

However the engine replacement argument is difficult to buy once bitten, twice shy. We are all reluctant to ride this car again, and the only viable option is a REPLACEMENT OF THE CAR ITSELF.
Instead of enhancing the operational capacity of our business, we have to incur only extra expenses in hiring a vehicle and are facing difficulties in loan repayment.
