[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip — delay in bus service

Sir/mam,
Wrote to make my trip .com following mail immediately after my journey. As a routine no-reply instant message came. Since then no message/information from the agency.

NU[protected] - acknowledgement no received from them.

I booked a ticket from KARUR to Bangalore for 18th may 2011. Bus timing was at 11pm in the night. Departure at 11.15pm. But could get the bus and board it only at 12.20 am i.e. 19.5.2011. Very much troubled and missed another journey, which got delayed due to this. Had to attend office very late in the afternoon. The person incharge there tells that the bus regularly comes between 12 and 12.30 am only. So there is no meaning in giving time as 11.00pm in the ticket.

Hence think should not book on make my trip any more, as they do not know actual time of departure and cause great inconvinience to aggrieved passengers like me.

Hence please look into the matter and compensate me , or else matter will be taken with consumer forum also.

Nobody has reached even over phone. If makemytrip cannot do any thing if there is delay, u should not provide for the facility. its better to remove from offering such facilities in future.

It is obvious that every site provides for such a thing with an asterisk. it is lesson for all people.
Just want to share my experience with bus journey from Bangalore to Vellor. On 25th of September, My bus started from Madiwala at 3:45 pm.
I booked ticket twice from makemytrip in volvo. Each time I find somebody else sitting on my reserved seat and they simply refuse to give my seat.
When I talked to bus operator, he offered me some other non preferred seat.

Makemytrip says, the bus operator has the authority to change the seat at run time. If this is the case then I do not understand why they provide option to book the ticket and choose the seat.
I advise everybody that for bus atleast, DO NOT use the makemytirp gateway. Better u call the bus operator and get the booking done directly. You cannot rely the alliance between makemytirp and the bus operator.
If you get in some problem they are not going to listen you but give you a number of bus operator and request you to talk to them directly.

BEWARE OF THE TRAP...
