Hi
I live on the top floor of my society building which is over 60 years old. There has been a constant leakage from the terrace during the rains into my flat and other flats on the top floor. I have approached the managing committee to have the same repaired. But when the matter is presented in the General Body owners of the properties on the lower floors object for the repair as it does not affect them. They say that the society has already repaired the terrace a number of times (the last repair was done 8 years back) and now the people living on the third floor should undertake the cost. As a result they do not pass the cost to repair the terrace.
What can I and other members of the top floor do in this case?
Regards,
