[Resolved]  Maruti Ritz — Poor Mileage

Dear Sir,

I have a Maruti Ritz which i purchased recently in the month May(Car No: WB-06-D-4707). I bought this car by replacing my existing swift since the company boosted a lot about the new K series Engine and the better mileage. But to my surprise what Maruti claims the mileage is not even half of it. I am really feeling being cheated by taking the car.

How could a company of maruti status which is known for the mileage and stability could freely claim wrong mileage and cheat the consumers on false feedback.

I would be very happy if you can help me in this issue

I bought a Maruti Ritz on March 6 and for the last four months the mileage has been awful - always under 10Km per litre - I have reported this to their dealer whom i bought it from "Marketing Times" in Delhi as well as their service dept. Both of them have said it will improve after service - but too no avail.

Their service was miserable - very poor customer service. After 4 months they have failed to either respond or resolve the complaint. one month ago Maruti, sent me big customer survey reviews.. i sent them back more than a month ago with the complaint - still no action.

Is this usual with Maruti. I was promised about 17km per litre. can someone look into this and or reach me.

Is there a maruti number or a forum on the web where one can reach for HELP
