[Resolved]  Maruti Service Station — SIMPLY MONEY SUCKERS>>>

MARUTI is a well known brand which is actually the heart of INDIA and its citizens.People trust and believe in MARUTI as it is their PARENTS or FAMILY PEOPLE..But today with the growth in techniques and man power the ethics and that craze is getting blurred.I realised it when i recently took one of my car for a check up to M/S BHAWANI MOTOR GARAGE, SILIGURI.. It is a MARUTI AUTHORISED SERVICE STATION which is not that big but still manageable...

So to get some work done for my ZEN I landed up there..They were courteus to see me there and listened to all my problems related to the vehicle and without a trial they opened up the vehicles suspension, brakes, air cleaner and some denting and minore paint job too..after everything was opened up they put up a long list of spares which they deemed necessary..I said ok you please go ahead and do the work..after half an hour i saw that one of the owner MR SANJAY DAS got all the spares from somewhere and I was shocked to see that none of the spares were MARUTI GENUINE PARTS but they all were some local delhi made stuffs and the clutch pressure plates were also duplicate.

When I asked him why arent you giving me the original spares he said its the best quality and added that "ITS NO USE PUTTING UP MARUTI ORIGINAL PARTS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND THERE IS GUARANTEE N THE SPARES. MARUTI HAS JUST BEEN SELLING USELESS THINGS. AND WE ARE SELLING ALL THESE SPARES AND THEY ARE GIVING GOOD SERVICE..SO PLZ DONT BOTHER..WE WILL DO GOOD FOR YOU" but when i was adamant that i want only original spares after a lot of comotion and argurment he agreed to get me the original spares and went back to get them.

After another hour he came back with the spares in maruti packed boxes i dont know what had he brought but still i had to trust.And after he came there came the staff of the maruti spares distributor from where he had taken the spares.He asked Mr SANJAY to make the payments and then Mr Sanjay asked me for the money saying that he has to make the payments to the distributor. I said first let my vehicle get overhauled and then i will pay yu all at the time of delivery and then he started fighting with me saying why yu get yur vehicles here when yu cannot make payments...

I have been maintaining vehicles since last 14 years and have been visiting MASS regularly but this sort of a thing never happened but for the 1st time I faced a very bad situation...when i denied to make payments sanjay said the distributors staff that plz wait i will make yu the payment as son as the vehicle is ready and on listening to this the staff got fired saying that already a lot of payment is due from your end.. and when yu said yu will make the payment now then make it but sanjay spoke all sorts of slang to that staff and asked him to run away saying NAHI HOGA PAYMENTS...and after all this i realised that i am caught up tday...and not only this any spare or nut bolts that was required was being brought from the market...they did not have it in stock...then i asked the fitter to replace the engine oil also and he got some veedol engine oil...from stock but i refused saying i need CASTROL and finally i had to go out to get the oil on my own...I got the castrol tin and gave them..and during lunch time the mechanic asked me for 100 saying he will have his lunch here only and wont go home...when i said ask yur owner he said fine yur work will be delayed not my problem...all the work they said was done and by evening the car was ready...

Now time for the bill...and the bill was ready for some Rs. 10045 including spares and labour...I was shocked at seeing the bill because:::::
1> the bill was not of BHAWANI MOTOR GARAGE but was of some RAJESH AUTOMOBILES
2> the bill bore no maruti authorisation no logo no certification of MASS
3> the spares bill was very high.. the rates were 20 to 25% higher than the MRP printed on the spares.
4> the labour cost of oil change was 150, clutch plate change was 1050, denting and painting on the front left fender panel was 2950

Then i had a word with SANJAY regarding this then he said our charges are this and no discounts on this..I said its very very expensive yu please show me yur rate chart then he said that these are maruti prescribed rates and we do not alter all this.And for the bill he said MASS is in name of both our firms..BHAWANI MOTOR GARAGE AND RAJESH AUTOMOBILES and we are licensed...He said i am giving you this white slip of spares because it will save yu tax service tax...and rest they were not ready to listen to me...
So finally i had to pay this amount...and later when i was the delivery of my vehicle i realised the same problem of the clutch persisted...when i told them this they said its absolutely fine..and did not accept my claims...

Sir is this the standard of MARUTI today? Is MARUTI appointing MASS just for the sake of eaning money? Is QUALITY and SATISFACTION for customers is no more a MARUTIs motto? Such a bad service and behaviour both at work and in person is no mans choice...If such people exist in your dealers network i SWEAR ON GOD people will resell their MARUTIS and shift off to some other brand that gives them good service and satisfaction..People like BHAWANI MOTOR GARAGE can survive by their rude means but we corporates cannot continue this way always...
I will sell of both my MARUTIs and shift off to some other brand because such a term of trust and workmanship is not tolerable...
If people like me get dissatisfied with yur services and start disposing off their vehicles then whom will the company sell ff their produce...

Dear Sir,

I got my Maruti Alto (UP 16 F 5630) car repaired by Berkeley Automobiles Limited Panchkula, Haryana. It was an accidental case and i reported the case to the said service centre on 4th Aug. 2008 morning. It was my first interaction with Berkeley. I am totally unsatisfied with services and attitude.

I was told that car will be given to me on 7th Aug. EOD. However it not ready till 8th night. I called umpteen number of time to get my car delivered. Finally 9th 11:00 AM i was given the car. I was also told that some colour finishing touch work is still pending as it should be done after 1 week only.

After that i asked for bill, they said since it is accidental case, once bill will be settle with insurance company then only i can get final copy of bill. I said, ok when I will come back for finishing touch for car body paint, i will collect.

Since I don't have bill, i can't quote bill no. here. Verification can be done using registration number.

I went back on 23 Aug. 2008 (Saturday) with following complaints.

(1) Whiper was not working. (will cost me 250/- to get it repaired)
(2) Car bonat is not in correct shape
(3) Central locking system is not working properly.
(4) Car body where danting and painting was done, is still having portion with out paint.
(5) Back seat cover is dirt with paint all over.(these guys even don't care to put news paper on seat to save them from getting paint with body!!!). It will be costing me 1000/- rs to change them.
(6) Pending bill

Again it was same story as i faced last time. i was told that i will be given car by 4:00 PM but it was not ready even at 7:30 PM. i forcibily took my car in night and car was not ready, it was dirty and and except point # 2, 3 nothing was done. I asked for bill and no body wanted to listen to me. I got clear indication that take your car and get lost. I spoke to work shop manager about my bill and he is not interested to listen to me. The car was in such shape that i can drive it. Next day i went to other work shop and got it washed so that paint colour / stains can be washed off.

I called customer care of Berkeley auto, their managers and every one i can call...still no response. i am sure these guys actually asked for some exhorbitant amount from insurance company thats why they are not providing me bill. I also lodged a complaint at Chandigarh Maruti regional office and it seems they are also not interested.

If this continues, 1st thing is I will never recommand Berkeley to any one my friends for any thing and i am realy forced to take this matter to consumer court to get some respite.

I am loyal customer to maruti and I don't want to shift loyality just because a ignorant service provider. I seek help to redeem my faith and confidance in maruti.

I am really expecting some action against the Berkeley Automobiles.

HI ... I just purchased a SWIFT LXI Black in INDUS MOTORS KATTUPAAKAM Chennai Just 20 days back ...AS i have purchased a base model of it I just want to make it as a top end model so i just told them to put power windows nd some acc.. Everyone use to say Put all kinds of Accessories in the company itself but in case of maruthi pls dont try it .. because i hav putten Accessories for abt 35k but nothing is useful just a waste of money it works like a china's product then i told them to put a JBL speakers but they have putten Sony nd i asked for Tweeters but it s not working also to . Because of this i dont know What to do with it So i am not using my car also it gives a headache sound while using the Power Windows . For putting a product like that i woluld purchased that in a local markets it wil work nicely than i expected ...Anyway i just want to seek a Satisfaction for this problem Pls make a Note and make action's for this get me a reply for this .
Dont service from Indus motors mettukada. they are cheaters. They stolen my blue grill and fuel.

I am a Govt. Employee. Being a deptt. representative I went to Maruti authorized service station M/s. Jamkash Vehicleades Jammu, for engine overhauling of deptt. Maruti Gypsy JK[protected] model) on dated 31-Dec-2008. The said vehicle have low pulling power & low mileage per litre. Maruti authorized service station M/s. Jamkash Vehicleades Jammu, have repaired the same vehicle and charged Rs. 27652/- against this repair. But the said vehicle was not performing well. In this context i have again contacted Maruti authorized service station M/s. Jamkash Vehicleades Jammu for the same problem. They asked me to send the vehicle for checking. I have send the vehicle by loading it on the truck to Maruti authorized service station M/s. Jamkash Vehicleades Jammu for further checking. again they have checked it & send back with the remarks that the necessary adjustment has been done in engine side. But till date the vehicle is not performing well & consuming petrol @ 4 kms per litre in long run & in hilly area it is running with the help of 4x4 gear . So i am in dilemma what to do? It is not a personnel vehicle it is a govt. vehicle. So all the people are raising the finger towards me as well as towards Maruti.It will degrading the reputation of Maruti, if, ignored.
So pl. do the needful so that I may be able to get solution.

I've bought a MarutiI Wagon R car from M/S Indus Motors Chennai who is found to be the No - 1 Dealer in India for past three years, I went and booked the said car on 4/06/2007 and same car was been delivered to me on 14/06/2007, After four days from the date of delivery the said car created several problems like tyre deflating, gear shifitng problem, petrol lid not opening, so on and when i tried to sell my Wagon R to used car Dealer Maruti True Value there the wind fall started, A person from Maruti True Value inspected my car and told this not the year of manufacturing 2007 and is of 2006 only, Am shocked about what he had confirmed me and the same was reported as an complaint to Transport Commissioner Tn Gov, And the Hon'ble Transport Commissioner had issue and ORDER which stated as per the M/s.Indus Motors Chennai made irregularities in registration of my Wagon R car the Trade Certificate is cancelled for the Indus Motors Chennai .


Therefore I request all propective purchaser's to carefull while buying new maruti vehicles

Sir,
Let me inform the following to your attention.
Today (23/07/2010), I approached Maruti Srevice Centre (Sai Service Station,Cheranalloore Road,Edappilly,Cochin-24) around 4.50 pm for servicing my maruti 800 car.The rear left brake shoe of my car was broken and that wheel is not revolving.So I kept the car in my home and approached the very nearest service station for repairing the wheel and for servicing. I have seen their advt “Free pickup and Drop facility” is providing by them.
Immediately after entering into the service station,I reported the same matter to the front office customer care executive. He called somebody and handed over his mobile handset to me . That person asked me about the location of my home.I told him that it is very near to that Service Station.He told me to wait in that office itself.
After half an hour,around 5.20 pm I again approached the front office customer care executive.He again called the previously called person and told me that he is very near to that office and will come soon. I again waited there for 20 minutes more and left that office without saying anything to anybody.
I have been waited there for more than 50 minutes in that office.Only thing I am expecting today is to pickup my vehicle from my home,which is very near to their service station. I think it is very easy to arrange for them. But I was not found any effort from them.
The only intention of this mail is to inform the matter to you. I am sure that you will take necessary steps in future for avoiding such incidents.

i have given my swift car no. DL2CAL2466 for serviceing at Competent Automobile service station at shivaji marg, delhi on 24.10.2010 at 9.00am and receive back at 4.15pm affer receiving my beloved car it was not properly washed/cleaned i told the supervisor but he ignored after that i complained to his senior but he show so busy he did't care. i send a customer comments letter to the enclosed envelop, after one month i receive a call from customer care that have i receive a courier regarding complimentary rubbing polishing, after 10 days i call talk with customer care executive, she stateway refused and very ruedly told me without courier we will not do any thing for you, you can make complain any where we don't care, i shocked to see the atitude. pls look into it and take action
