[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi — power steering

i had purchased swift vdi in august 2007. tht was a worth buying coz of the qualities of the vehicle. In the 3rd service which was being done by maruti naraina, the workshop runned by maruti itself, and bfr tht the power steering was working quite nicely. maruti naraina did all the work to be done in 3rd service including wheel alignment. and just after the service i had noticed that the steeing is very much hard. with in a week span i had brought this in the knowledge of service provider they told me to visit them and get it cheked. i went thr and they do the alignment again which was so much in bad condition as i saw in computer installed over there. when i asked about the same they said thesealignment machines are very advance and just installed so it can happen. anyhow i took the vehicle and difference was thr in steering performance but i was not satisfied totally. i told them abt the same and they said " Sir, don't worry this is our vehicle" the same i had listened so many times whenever i went to maruti showroom anytime during the period. maruti has a very good method to fool the customers to satisfy all the customers by saying this " THIS IS OUR VEHICLE DO NOT WORRY AT ALL" tell me this if this is thr vehicle then give this to customers on rent basis. anyhow the steering problem was thr its having a JERK while cutting left side and in idle position the steering behaves liske a normal steering NOT LIKE POWER STEERING. Maruti people have one more thing to fool people in shape of RATE THE SERVICE. in which they give you a performa to fill the performance numbers which has no use. no body bothers in the company if smone gives less marks. when tht performa was due to be filled i got a call frm naraina whether my vehicle is running ok i said no. they again ask me to bring the vehicle. i went again but all in vain. they were saying the same tune " Thrs no problem Sir, This is our vehicle" and in such a manner that i felt myself as a fool who is bringing the vehicle to be cheked unnecessary. In the mean time i had posted the envelop of rating to maruti udyog without filling it only with comments of my whole experience. i received a call again but asking for only rating points which they can fill thereselves but on my complaint no answer was thr. simply said visit again. wht the hell is this i dont knw. how the company make logos of full satisfaction and all tht its beyond my mind. lets c wht will happen i am driving with all these problems cos the traffic condition of my route is very congested and i have to bear with the problem of power steering without any power. wht this complaint can do let me c. any remedy will be provided after this let me c or i will console myself tht by this website i am feeling a bit relaxed after the frustration which i had earlier. tnks

That is funny that you type this - my car has completed it's third service and it is having the same issue. I did not suspect anything though. I was just planning to take this to the service center to have it fixed.
