[Resolved]  MARUTI SWIFT LDI — Maruti Swift STOLEN by Maruti authorised dealer ( Fair deal, Shahdara Delhi )

Subject: Maruti Swift STOLEN by Maruti authorised dealer ( Fair deal, Shahdara Delhi ) (DL 5C F 2788, MARUTI SWIFT LDI 2008 MODEL) with engine no.D13A1104458 and chassis no. MA3FKEB1S00336887 has been stolen.

Details are as follows:

I had bought a Swift Car (LDI Model) on 7th Aug 2008 from Fair Deal Cars Pvt
Ltd, 485 – A, Main GT Road, Shahdara, Delhi-95. First servicing was done on 25/08/2008 and I got the car back.

On 10th October – Friday, I again requested them to pick up my car for second free service. I called up their office girl RINKU at her mobile number [protected], she said that somebody from Fairdeal will come to pick up the car on Saturday, 11th October. Nobody came. So I requested Rinku to arrange the pick up for next day i.e. Sunday 12th October. Rinku confirmed that she would be sending a guy for pick up next day Sunday morning 9 am 12th October, 2008

On Sunday a person (Male) called me on my cell phone stating that he has come from Fair Deal and is waiting downstairs for the car keys. He called me from 2 numbers [protected] and[protected] later I found these were PCO’s ) .

That guy was wearing the Fair Deal uniform and he took the car from me and listened to my complaints and went away. He said his mobile was not working. After two hours when I didn’t receive any call from Fair Deal I got worried and called up the Fair deal service centre. They told me to wait and they will revert shortly with update, after sometime they told me that the car was not at the service station and may be the pick up guy had taken the car to their showroom. This is sheer negligence on part of fair deal. Had they been prompt and alert the thief would have been caught.

Again he asked me to wait for sometime. After few minutes I received a call from Mr. Daljeet Singh (GM Service) stating that they haven’t received my car for service. I was very surprised and shocked to hear this information and so I went to Fair Deal Service station and met Mr. Daljeet Singh. He told us that he needs some time to investigate within his organisation i.e. Fair Deal Cars Pvt Ltd and asked to me to wait till next day morning 11.30 am i.e. Monday 13th October, 2008. Again this is such a serious matter and Fair deal should have had some records with them straight away. We got worried and went straight to the Vasant Vihar police station to write an FIR. They agreed to take a written application from me.

Next day i.e. 13th October when I did not receive any call from Mr Daljeet till 12.00 clock, I again went to Fair Deal for further enquiry and Mr. Daljeet told me that there were two entries in their record books which he showed me, for picking up the car on Saturday & Sunday but as per their records they had not sent anybody for pick up( Why? ). They accepted that some how information has leaked from their end and there is something wrong. Our regular visits to Fair Deal proved futile and we did not get the expected cooperation from Fair Deal. The direct involvement of Fair deal in the theft cannot be ruled out.

May I please request Maruti Udyog to step in and speed up the process and black list Fair Deal and take the ownership of the stolen vehicle. I think Fair Deal is a representative of Maruti and Maruti is also indirectly responsible for the stolen vehicle. So I expect Maruti Udyog / Fair Deal to provide me with a new car and co-operate with us/police in investigating the case quickly. I think Maruti Udyog should press Fair Deal to conduct an internal investigation within their organization to nail the culprit as the information has leaked from there.

We believe that if this case is investigated quickly by the authorities we will get our car back. We are very sad, disheartened and frustrated with the casual attitude and non-action by Fair Deal.

maruti uydog — theft in authorized service centre

on 23.04.2008 i took my wagon car primea WB02U 8424 registered in my sister's name DEBJANI BOSE for A.C gas charge in MACHINO TECHNO SALES AND SERVICES (Kolkata).I handed over my car to MR.BIMAL PAUL (Service Person).He did not issue me any papers.After I gave my car I realised that I left a bag in my car, I called up Mr.PAUL and told him to keep it in his custody.But when I came to take my car the bag was there but it was empty.I visited GM who passed the matter to Works Manager.I spend 2 hours but there was no action from the dealer side.My questions are:

1. How come Mr.Paul has signed on the cusomer part in the job sheet.
2.Why Mr.Paul insisted not to make any bill whereas I wanted proper bill.he was only telling me if I make proper bill it will cost me more, I wanted a proper bill.HE INISTED ME TO GIVE THE MONEY TO HIM AND HE WILL DO THE NEEDFULL.
3.Is it safe to give cars in authorized service centre?????????

I have given my Car to repair, but I have lost some value-able parts costing Rs 1, 000/, when i claim for the same but nobody there to explain me rather they said me there was nothing such things in the car even it was very much vivid that was stolen by one of the Employee of the MARUTI AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER GEM MOTOR. It's a shame to all GEM MOTOR EMPLOYEES to involve such kind of activites. Poeple like us think that it's a Authorized Sevice Center and kept faith on them and give our Vehicle for days under thier custody. but they are not faithfull at all.Today, I lost small thing ..tommorrow may be we lost the Vehicle/ Car itself...these people are not at all faithful, they are not Authorised Service Center, but become a Maritu Authorised Thief Center. Now onwards, I will never give Car to this Cervice Center and make aware you all think twice before giving your vehicle to such Service + Theif Center...it could be a last day for you to see/ touch your vehicle/ Car. Better be careful then to be Sorry!!! so Careful Friends...suggestions: it is wise decision to give for Servicing to near and known Outside Service Center...to safe TAX and secure Ur Vehicle/ CAR/ Parts etc from stolen by Authorised Theif in Authorised Service Center!!!

sir,
its true that ur authorize dealer fairdeal is a thief plz void there license as they are good for nothing and dont deliver cars on time and there service center is too bad as there are many other cars hyundai and honda cars repairing and take our body parts.
It was really sad to go thru ur story.I dont know whether u have received the car back ...but i m sure these Fair Deal fellows are a bunch of thieves and likes to dupe customers as it happened in my case with Fair Deal Sahibabad branch ...which i will be posting soon.Mr Vikas Bakshi tried to use a old part of another car that had come for servicing in my car which was supposedly broken by their workers and instead giving me a new one under warranty he tried using that of another car's .But fortunatley I caught hold of him and he has told that the new part ha been ordered ..lets see i m still waiting that that new part comes and is fitted in my car

I STRONGLY AGREE THAT THESE FAIRDEAL PEOPLE ARE REALLY CULPRITS, THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE LOT THAT MARUTI HOLDS.

ALSO THE TEAM LED BY NIRANJAN/PREETI/RISHIPAL IS FULL OF DACOITS, U CAN GET ANY KIND OFWORK DONE BY THEM (THOUGH SETTING HAS TO BE DONE).

THEY ARE LEAST RESPONSIBLE AND FULL OF LAYMAN EXCUSES.

NOT ONLY MARUTI BUT ALSO THE INSURANCE COMPANY SHOULD GET THE AUDIT DONE FOR THEIR BETTERMENT.
