MERU CABS: India’s worst Cab Service Provider!!! Stay away from meru cabs, their service sucks!! Never use Meru for Airport Drop offs Guys, I had a very horrible experience with Meru Cabs and would like to share with you all so that you don’t undergo such nightmare. I had booked Meru cab for Delhi Airport drop off for August 06, 2012 at 5:00 AM from my house in Gurgaon. The cab reached 33 minutes late from the scheduled time and because of which I missed my flight. I had to cancel my appointments & also the accommodation which I had booked in advance in Chennai. My ordeal started early morning when I first received the call from the driver at 4:42 AM. I explained him how to reach my house. He told me that he is nearby would reach in next 5 minutes. But he didn’t come even after calling him repeatedly at 4:58, 5:08, 5:09, 5:15, 5:16, 5:26 AM. He finally came 51 minutes later after his first call but by that time it was too late as when I reached airport it was told to me by the staff that the departure is closed. I went through lots of suffering as I felt helpless what to do?? It was horrible experience. A complete torture!!! This is the way Meru Cabs treats its Customers??? Do they only focus on Charging the services amount but not on “ensuring timely arrival for Pick up”?? If this is the way then I am really sorry to say that I would never ever recommend anyone to book Meru Cabs..and maximum share of their revenue depend on “Word of Mouth”. If this is the actual way of treating the customers then the day is not far when their competitors and even the Local Pickup service providers will take over them guys!!!
