[Resolved]  MetLife India — Fraud insurance policy

I can give two examples of Metlife using fake signatures in order to use my money for policies that I would not have agreed to if they had asked me. I requested refund on policy number 20295447 in May 2010 but the Dehradun Metlife Office faked my signature on a letter in order to transfer the money to a new policy. Outright fraud. I should have gone to the police but decided to let it go ahead. Then they faked my signature on the application form for this new policy 20384694 when I was out of station. If had known the exact details of the policy I would not havae signed. Then when I tried again to get my money back there was signature mismatch. Now my money is lost. They opened a complaint but are now saying it is too late for refund. It is not even clear if they have my money. FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!

metlife india is 100% cheating company. we can't get our money on any period. what are procedures to file suit against these fraud insurance company?Is there RBI norms followed by the company?Please kindly suggest me the best lawyers.as i had cheated by the metlife agents and axis bank people.Both of them cheated very badly I had a loss of min.Rs. 5 laks .I want to file cases aginst them.

i totally agree that metlife is a total fraud company. i made two policies of 15 K each. i was told i need to pay for 3 consecutive years minimum after which if i wish to discontinue i can. I was also promised that i can take back my money after finishing 5 yrs of the policies with more than double the value of the premiums paid. as i had bought this policies through GEOGITH PARIBAS office when i visited there office in bangalore i was shocked to hear that i can get my money back only after 10 yrs & that to less than half of what i have invested in the policies.they even said if i would like to close the policies immediately then i would get only penny of what i paid. I would like to warn & request all o[censored] who want to invest in metlife to never invest in them as they r the biggest frauds. I feel & strongly beleive that all this companies who promise the benefits & returns are of the same caliber as metlife. i have lost faith in both metlife & GEOGITH PARBIBAS. The rules of the policies which i bought were from metlife but however Geogith people whom i trusted kept me in dark & mislead me in my investments.
