Some law enforcing authority ... somebody in power please take action against Manas hosting... after seeing so many negative reviews about them around the net, how can they still be surviving... their service is so horrible and pathetic... their site is down most of the time, their lines are not active most of the time... it leaves ppl who have signed up with them helpless... I think some governing body must take action and not let unsuspecting ppl (like me!) fall prey to them... I spent Rs. 2000 on a windows package... i made an online transfer and after 4 days i got the account activated... I received the instructions for setting up my helm account...( please keep in mind that i am a first time user and all this is very new to me!) i do have k/w about free websites and blogs... but setting up your own website is a different ball game altogether! There is not customer service whatsoever... just read these instructions... what can a first time user understand about these! esp if things are not working? I shall just paste what instructions i got in the email... if someone can help me out it will be great! here it goes! ( check out the english) ========================== ۞ Please click on My Domain, your domain name will come in the list, please click on your Domain name. (If your domain is not showing there then please add the domain by clicking the create domain bottom and out your domain name with our www then click on save after you can able to view the domain name there). ۞ In the next page you will get so many settings out of them you will get a icon Email please click there. [ I get only 4 icons ... no so many settings :( ] ۞ In the next page you will get 1 buttom for add, click there then in the next page you will get a [protected]@your domain name. ۞ In the you have to type info or admin or kumar or rahim what ever suitable for you then you have to put your password and confirm password. (please don't laugh!) ۞ Now your ftp login will be [protected]@domainname or [protected]@domainname or [protected]@yourdomain or [protected]@yourdomain what ever you have given in that box that [protected]@yourdomainname will be your User ID of your ftp and the password which you have given that will be your password. (oh ram... oh rahim... help me!!! ) ۞ For login you have to type in the browser ftp.yourdomainname then it will ask you User ID and password then you have to put your User ID and password. ۞ How to upload by the using the ftp detail, you will get the long description below. After login into your Control Panel Please find below procedure to upload your files: Please make your home page as index.htm and upload your all file under wwwroot folder. Please don't upload outside of wwwroot folder. Otherwise it will not work. 1) ftp.[protected] ftp.abc.com ) User ID : [protected]@ Password : you have to create after log in to your account Now you can see two folder : I) logs II) wwwroot and you can upload your file from your computer to your webspace server under wwwroot folder. 2) Through ftp software also you can also upload file.. Please download this software from below URL www.manashosting.com/ftp.exe And install it in your computer, click as a student and for home use option at the time of installing the software. It will ask you folllowing details and you have to fill up the box to upload your website... profile name : website host name/address : ftp.[protected] ftp.abc.com ) host type : automatic detect User ID : [protected]@domainname password : you have to create after log in to your account click box : Save Password press apply two time press ok one time Now you will see ftp room to host your website... Left hand side box will be the list of your local computer file... Right hand side box is your web server file list... Now click middle arrow mark button to transfer file from Your computer to web server. Upload your all file inside wwwroot folder. Note:- On this ftp software click options -->session --> uncheck "use passive transfer mode" ================================================= I don't know which ftp software that is! I want to know if i can use File Zilla for this??? if so how? can some one let me know how they set up their website or hosted it using Manas hositng... i will be highly grateful... worst pathetic service i have come across. there is no co-ordination between the sales and the technical team. The so called engineer did not understand my issue at all and he kept on saying to check my ftp spelling without even knowing that my hosting was not on their sever.
I made him aware of this fact and he kept on blaming me saying that i did not tell him the domain name wherein i gave him this info 3 times during the chat. Now this spoon fed technical babies have atlest check my namesevers before telling me to check the speling.. Please Please Please for god sake stop manas hosting service at least let othe hosting companies grow.

Manas was Failed to Host Our Website, Failed to Resolve Mail Issue, Failed to Resolve DNS Issues and more ever, Their Tech Support is really horrible. They treat the calling persons like anything; they are not professionals. There are no words to explain our worst experience with Manas. Simply, Hosting with Manas is Nothing But asking for Mental Torture.
Our Web Site was completely Dead for more than Two Months from the Date of Service Purchase from MANAS to the Date of transfer the Hosting to Some other Hosting Providers.

I have hosted 3 domains with this company, due to their absolutely poor support, I have decided to transfer to GoDaddy.com which is a very good company. Now these people are reluctant to give me the authorization codes to go ahead with the transfer, they are behaving very strange. Can somebody suggest where else I can complain and get action taken? This company is formed for the sole purpose of cheating people .Imagine the amount of money they will be earning by doing nothing .I have also been cheated and changed my hosting company and realised the other companies get everything done withing 24 hours and provide actual support .MANAS even after 4 months will not blocak a single domain .

we had 3 websites registered with them, and everytime we had to renew it, there are always issue with the registration process, they dont have enough excutives to take the call, even after the payment is made, they remove our website, no processes are defined, they are the worst service providers,please cancel there licence or ask them to improve their services

I paid Rs 3000 by credit card to Manashosting, Bangalore on 4th Aug'09 for hosting my website which was to be hosted on 15thAug'09, our independence day.Manashosting sales representative had verbally assured us full technical support for 24 hours. The sales representative had also verbally asssured us running an exe file on their server.
After the payment was made, when we try to log in to their own website 8 out of 10 times we fail to log in.
When we try to make a call (STD as they dont have any toll free no.), they ask us to raise a Ticket to lodge any complaint. And lodging a complaint can be done by logging on to their website which is the most difficult nut to crack. (U can try www.manashosting.co.in or www.manashosting.com).
They have a 24 hour online chat. Their sales team is working very efficiently just to take care that they trap maximum people in their net.
I have recorded all the chats with them. I can prove that they provide minimum technical support. At nights they take care that their technical support telephone is engaged (may be they are keeping it aside).
Our technical team uploaded the necessary pages to launch our website. But now the site is not getting uploaded. And they say that their technical team will look into the matter. And the fact is nobody bothers about the customers. There is no responsible person person to talk to.
I have spent nearly 800 to 1000 rs on my std calls.
Its a classes website. We had announced an official launch of the website on 15thAug'09.
But again surprisingly on that day the technical team was on a holiday whereas the sales team was working (Whereas it should exactly the other way round).
It is a terrible mental torture to me, inspite of paying full amount in advance.
As per your records, there are already 48 complaints against this company. Mine will be the 49th one.
Im ready to fight. But please help me in getting the full refund and compensation due to the time losses which I had to suffer due to them.

When you call on technical numbers their IVR system says to call on another number, when you call on another number they ask to raise the ticket and when the ticket is raised, nobody is there to attend that ticket and when you again call to technical team.. same cycle goes on. and on.. and on..
They will resolve your problem only when they think they are in mood to solve it..
I am fed up raising tickets and calling them, but all in vein.
Because of them I lost my client, don't ever trust their sales team what they say, you will be lost in their goody goody talks.
I will recommend very person not to be trap in their lolly pop and cheap plans.

Manashosting is just The dirtiest comapny and has the WORST service ever...I have bought many domain names and space from them and later when i started using them,i realized that once they get payments they never remember the customer at all.Those took nearly 5 days to register a domain and one of my domain name was taken by someone else too after paying the amount .When i asked for return of my amount,they said money return is not possible.I am really irritated by the service they provide.They took 14 days to solve an error related to uploading a webapge.SHAME ON YOU Manashosting...when i had a chat with them,some of the sales has promised me of 24/7 support.But they never supported me even twice a week properly.They are the USELESS...Govt has to take certain action on that company for providing false promises like 24*7 support and stuff.

I am having problems with mails since from 7th Oct 2009 and raised a ticket which no is WCO-280473. I have attested complete detailes asked by the support team and also called up several times for support but till now i am not getting any help.

They dont attend to your phone properly, they never call back.The staff working are not able to u communicate properly.They send irresponsible emails e.g they told me to make payment 2-3 days or my domain will expire .Infact their was still 2-3 month left before my actual expiry date.Not only this, they have registered my domain after more than one month from the date of payment.I have full proof of this statement.Even they committed that they have done mistake but only when i told them that i will take legal action.I had no such problem with my earlier company net4india.

Manas hosting is playing with the people business...They have destroyed my all the emails setting They do care only until they get the money in to their pocket but once they received the money from you, you can keep on running after them but they don’t listen to you...i have talked with my friends and lawyer now i will go the consumer court and hopefully in future they will abstain from providing the poor service . Please consider all the points before you take the service from any company!!!

These people are TERRIBLE.

I have PAID them for domain renewal, but even one week later my website is not up.
They are saying I should call everyone who visits my website and request them to Clear their Temporary Internet Files and Reboot computer. And that I have to call up my Broadband provider and tell them to RESET MY IP ADDRESS
