Mobile Store — No computer receipt for purchase

Recently I purchased a mobile handset at a Mobil store in Adyar, Chennai. On some pretext, the shopkeeper does not want to give the computer receipt for the purchase, instead he gives a handwritten one. I remember him doing the same for some other purchase I made at the this shop. I believe there is something not right in his action.
