We went to mothers pride baby show on 19 Dec 2010, completely fraud show, this is only for promoting business of mothers pride "greedy people", and most funny thing they charged 5500 on the time of admission for album "good business.

Now dis is again newssss... MOTHER'S PRIDE guys are in Kolkata now to fool us after playing enough with the Delhites!!! SIMPLY BEWARE it's the same baby show trap.Here they took along with them a leading kid's store (LITTLE SHOP) to trap the parents of little kids. The first show was on 27th Feb10 at their branch in BALLYGUNGE KOLKATA, the response might have been pretty overwhelming no wonder the immediate nex date is on 6th March but thankfully by god's grace i wil no longer be a part of this show after goin thru all dis matter. i like any other parent was quite interested to put my baby into this show so i had called up the fraud guys ... the way they speak one can make out their intentions clearly no wonder the first n foremost question they ask over the call is the locality u r calling from as becoz i stay little far from the venue they promptly told me that registration was closed but when a friend of mine of a nearby locality close to the vicinity of the school called they took her registration so now i guess u guys can understand who is clever???????? My advice to all is we should all get together n trap them.

Mother's Pride Baby Show a Shame!!!
Sunday, we took my 13month-old son to the Mother's Pride Baby Show (Sector-91, Noida). My husband and I were quite taken aback to note that the entire show was rigged to facililate parents who coughed up Rs.1250 as pre-admission registration fee.
Am aware that its difficult to measure the strengths and weaknesses of a child this young against her peers and I would be out of my mind to scream in abolute terms that my child had the sunniest smile or the most pretty appearance. But my husband and I know for sure that we answered correctly all 10 questions in the "Most Aware Parents" questionnaire as well as random questions fielded by the doc. We're both alumni of distinguished missionary schools and colleges and doing reasonably well for ourselves at work. Yet, we didn't figure anywhere in the list of most aware parents.
Therefore, we probably destroyed our son's chances at winning a prize there, by refusing point-blank to pay up any pre-admission fee saying, "We're not going to rush headlong into a choice of playschool this early, before carefully examining all the options available." Needless to see, we were met with hostile looks thereafter by some persistent members of the staff. Earlier, my son played with and responded to the evaluators in a most chirpy and fearless fashion and got compliments from the doc on board regarding her health milestones.
I'd also like to share the fact that colourful interiors need to be complemented by well-trained staff who speak the English language correctly and dress well, minus the flashy, sequined saris in bright, fluorescent colours. At least, all these teachers (maybe some of the relatively grave-looking ones would!) wouldn't inspire a great deal of respect, would they?
Am slightly concerned at the way the world of education is shaping up...

Even I felt the same. This baby show organize by the Mother's pride is only the marketing strategy to sell their admission. Baby show means there will be some activities for kids, some kids performance but there was nothing, You end up meeting the counsellor who with smiling face will show you the hefty amount to paid for enrolling your child in play school(around 1.10 lac per annum) .
It was very disheartening to visit and will suggest all parents not to waste their time and money visiting this stupid baby shows organize by mother pride

I beg to differ for most of the comments that I've just read.
Ever since my daughter was 18 months old we have been attending all the baby shows that we could. Now that she has turned four, we even went for Gladrags Little Miss India North Zone contest.
For the baby show, it is obviously for the marketing that they take all these pains after all they are not here for charity! But as far as my child is concerned, I just want her to participate as much as possible, meet new people, get to see the world (we have just met the most beautiful and glamorous personalities of the media world! And yes it is a great learning experience).
With all my modesty she has always won, and for mothers pride she won 2 prizes, one for sunniest smile (which she's won before as well) and one for dancing (she's always been trying to immitate the bollywood dancing ever since she was 2).
All the shows have their own format and criteria. The one at Manav Rachna (Gurgaon) was even better managed than the little miss india one. Most baby shows charge a fees and also have return gifts of some what equal value. Like for GLMI they charged rs. 500 but have called for the photographs hinting possibility of future modelling assignments.
However the show at mother pride is not such a big hoax as they have proper rounds, the first round is for 'most aware parents', the second is when the physicians check the height and weight, the next round is where the mental health of the baby is checked, even my child was asked several questions that a two and a half year old should be able to answer, and the next round is for the most aware mother, the last was when the kids could just chill and rock the dance floor, here they were judged for best dressed and dancing star catagories. The result was announced over the phone the next day. And the prize was handed over on next visit to school. These rounds remain more or less the same in other schools also and I guess the only problem there was that just too many people had turned up which makes it difficult for smooth organizing of any event.
Yes it is true that mothers pride is very ambitious and wishes to grow by leaps and bounds. It really gets irritating when people keep on pestering us to book a seat in mothers pride and thats not the end of it, once a person has booked a seat in mp, they are forced more to book another in Presidium, their formal school. But every person, organization has some flaws or the other should we over look the good qualities because of it? They work very hard and do lots of innovation and give the children lots of opportunities to grow and learn.
My child has benefited immensely. She is confident, and has high self esteem and recently appeared in all the leading dailies of my city! I suppose it this positivity which makes it possible. Instead of looking for other peoples flaws I think we should just focus on improving ourselves.
Note: My intention is not to hurt anybody's sentiments. I respect every commentator's views and am just putting forth mine.

Thanks a lot! I wanted to take my 4 and a half month old daughter to the Mothers Pride Baby Show held on 17th March 2013. After reading the above post and comments, I really changed my mind, now i will not go to the Baby show just to waste money, time and most importantly, if they will not treat my baby well or ignore my baby, that will be ridiculous or weird, which I cannot tolerate. It's nothing but disrespect of parents and their babies at the sake of money.
How can someone judge a baby within 5 minutes just by giving her toy or calling her name. They put category of 0-6 months, and they should know, at this age babies don't know their names, It's FUNNY!!! and a question mark on Mothers Pride staff to understand baby psychology.

i was planning to take my daughter to d baby show being organized by mothers pride but reading all dese comment i just wont go
At the time of admission, their counselor committed that, in case child's mother joins Mother's pride, the total cost of education for my daughter (total cost to pocket for an year) will be half (50% discounted) after the three months of her joining.
As my wife was looking for a change in computer teacher profession, she was made an offer by them and she joined Mother's Pride (with bare min salary) with the basis that total cost to pocket (as agreed at the time of child's admission) will be half after three months.
But, now, after 3 months, they (Mother's Pride) people have changed their words and telling that this is not possible as they don't have any such policy!!! I am stunned as when I re-called the commitments/words made by their counselor, they immediately asked for the written proof!! as if they were well prepared for it!!
Knowing the fact that I have already paid ~ 40 K so far (starting Apr-13 till date - as per the fees and expenses agreed at the time of admission of my child) and in case, I decide to withdraw the admission, I am hardly going to paid anything back (not even a single penny more than the security fee, which is ~ 5K as they charge hefty amount (60% of the total annual expense) as annual charges and all parents need to pay it upfront at the time of admission (which is not refundable), they have started saying even that ..."In case, I am felt cheated, I can withdraw the admission"!!
Dear Parents, this is my sincere request, you may opt any other school, but pls. pls. do not go for Motehr's Pride.

I totally agree with this complaint. Now I tell you the inside story about what is happening with your kids. You will be shocked to know that only the name is Mothers pride and most of the schools of MP is owned by two persons named Neha Dabral and Renu. The story is their branches are going in heavy losses and to compensate they are playing with your childs future by compromising on Quality. They are showing you something else but internally it is worst than a local play school as they are playing with quality of teachers and even food they serve to your kids. And the best thing is that it is done so professionally that you will never ever know that what is the right picture inside.
I beg you for the sake of humanity to never put your child to Mothers Pride, it is only a business and they can go to any depth to increase their profits and can play with the future of your child. I am an insider who has seen all this happening myself.

Mother's Pride is now known to be a business oriented school. They damn care about the parents and the babies. I too had a very bad experience.
Thanks all for sharing your baby show experience of mother's pride. I was about to go for the same I.e. on 14 DEC 2014. But Now no way I will be going there. Also iI just thought of seeing reviews about this and came accross all this to my surprise. I registered online but no money paid. Luckly I got a chance to read all this. Poor mothers pride
A baby show was held on 14.12.2014 (sunday) and again it was a complete flop show.In the name of baby show it was just their marketing strategy, inspite of such a bad weather people went out with their little one's just to see their kids having fun and showcase their talent but very disappointing .If they wanted to do publicity or attract people to enroll and add kids to their school, they should have looked for a better platform instead of fooling people. Bad trick!

Absolute fleecing...my kid was just 1 and a half years when we participated in their baby show in june '15, , , , , , they were trying hard to convince us to pay advance and block a seat for my kid's admission in their play school (despite the fact that he is underage).
In the name of baby show they were selling their seats...offering all sorts of discounts for same day booking, , , , marketing gimmick
The most hilarious part was...in one of the rounds, a teacher complimented a couple that their kid was the most intelligent she had ever come across ( which I overheard)...and during our round, she complimented the same to our kid ...probably part of the sales training of the teacher :)

True...mother's pride is a big cheat...they actually have no conscience...they just mint monry out of cheating hopeful parents...thr whole idea of baby show is to attract kids to get admission in that school...this is rudiculous...I would have got my kid to take admission in mother pride but now i wont...its such a cheat school

Never thought that this will be the treatment meted out to parents and lovely kids who take out time and effort to participate and are fooled by greedy professionals in the garb of sweet faces. My husband was about to reach the place for submitting the registration form, when i went through this website..immediately called him and asked to come back.
Now i seriously want to book Mothers Pride for this kind of harrasment of sweet kids n their parents, who wishfully go there to participate and are tried to trap.
Everybody take a stand and take Mothers Pride to task!!!
