The following e-mail have quoted me to credit the amont in ICICI bank with a/c number[protected].NAME OF ACCOUNT:KHAMLIAN GUIL Plese take action against the person also they attached Id card of a diplomat. Dear Lucky winner: My name is (Diplomat Ben grahams) am a representative of the Yahoo Msn Lottery in Uk.I just arrive your country with your winning parcel containing your winning cheque. (750,000.00) Great Britain Pound, Here is an attach copy of of my i.d Card On my arrival this Morning,your winning parcel was held back by the Custom Clearance unit at the Delhi Airport,they said that,due to the fact that i am bringing in a huge sum of amount to your country belonging to an indian citizen which is you,there has to be a custom clearance charge that has to be paid by you the beneficiary. This charge has to be paid immiediately by you,so that your parcel can be released to me,so i can come over to your state to deliver to you. So you have to immiediately make arrangement for the 30,000 INR. I received the same type of call from a person stating that he is is Mr. Ben Grahams. Also i saved his Mobile No. [protected]. He asked my ID & residential proof though i have not submitted any of these. Thank God that i have searched in google regarding such type of scam mails. Please donot respond to this mobile no.

These are misleading messages being sent to customers of various Banks stating that funds need to be credited to their account with respect to some lottery / inheritance/ job offers / international funds transfer. We urge you not to react or share any information in response to such communication. No legitimate company will offer to send you a cheque / transfer funds to your account subject to your sending them some money. Such scams are a global phenomenon and a challenge to all banks. We have initiated action against the ICICI account number mentioned. We suggest you lodge a complaint with the local police, giving them the complete details of the case.
