Nalanda Institute of Advanced Studies(NIAS) in India was one of the pioneers who introduced LOW graded Education in this part of India.NIAS’s aims at providing a unique combination of minimum academic excellence blended with zero career focused opportunities and experience. At NIAS WE have always felt that hotel Management gives the student a better chance to get excellent placement and opportunities for higher studies.After the COURSE is OVER you will be working as waiter or bar boy/girl OR COOK. They will be working 12-14 hours daily and beg for tips.NIAS is also by far the WORST Technical College in this part of India AND EVEN IF they want TRY they CANNOT FIND THEIR NAME IN the list of good COLLEGES IN EASTERN INDIA. THERE results prove, THEY have by far the WORST Training Methodology, creating all India Toppers (DONT KNOW HOW ALL INDIA TOPPERS ARE CREATED) year after year. Institute is one of those very few institutions, which has earned the most coveted ISO 9001:2000 certifications ( because they have paid money to get the certificate) for imparting poor quality education and also being rated by Hotel and Restaurant Association of Eastern India as one of the top hotel school (THAT'S WHY THEY COMPARE THEMSELVES WITH IIHM,SBIHM AND THINK THEY ARE THE BEST ) in eastern India . Besides the institute is also registered under societies act xxvi, 1961, Govt. of West Bengal. NIAS is proud to have a world-class sprawling campus (YET TO LOCATE THE SPRAWLING CAMPUS,ONLY CONCRETE JUNGLE AND they cant pay THE RENT for all nine floors, so they have vacated few floors) with infrastructural facilities to match. Situated in the hub of industry in Kolkata-Saltlake.Institute is well equipped with modern lecture rooms (NO projectors,NO MODERN FACILITY BUT THEY HAVE STATE OF THE ART FACILITY like wireless and high speed internet and computer full of virus ) for imparting lessons. Practical facilities include modern Food Production unit, Model Restaurant & Bar, Front Office laboratory, Housekeeping laboratory, computer lab (ARE ALL LABS WORKING?? The call centre is also the lab??) and well-stocked library with innumerable (it will two days to count) books. Institute also provides well-equipped gymnasium (even Salman khan comes there) and swimming pool (bipasha basu comes there) facility both for boys and girls.THEY HAVE MORE THAN ONCE GAte SUCH THAT THE HEAD OF THE INSTITUTION CAN come/LEAVE WHEN SOMEONE COMES ASKING FOR MONEY.Fees from students are taken advance but salaries are paid after asking 10 times.Call centre employees even uses slangs to top shots but they are used to it.Asking salaries can lead to termincation of service or long tour. Respecting the request of Mr. Mainak Saha along with Mr. Shankar Chaki we have agreed to withdraw our complaints from icomplaints and they promise us to release our salary within few days. But despite of waiting for nearly two months these guys have not paid us single penny. So, we are again launching the complaints. In this point of time we have dug out more cheating business of NIAS which you can able to understand if you go through the under mentioned content. Please go through the previous posted complaints along with the new one at the bottom. Again, thanks for supporting us.

But it is my utmost request to general public, please don’t take your son to NIAS, they will ruin his or her career. I would like to draw kind attention of our I.T. Minister Dr. Debesh Das to interfere in this matter. We feel proud of the I.T Sector, that is Sector V. It is the I.T Hub of Kolkata where all these fraud people are making their nest. Mr. Mainak Saha, Mr. Diptesh Chakraborty and Mr. Sibasis Jana is totally fraud and cheating poor old boys in the name of giving jobs in 15 days. They took a lot of money from them and no jobs were given. Recently NIAS had posted an add in the newspaper regarding different job vacancies which is a total fraud advertisement and they took a token money from the applicants and almost 29000 applicants apply for the post. But the post is allotted to pre-determined candidates.
Transcription Department was suddenly shut down and the employees didn’t receive any salary for the last two months. Recently they have started recruiting new people for transcription. I would request all those who have received call from NIAS eBusiness Solution regarding transcription, please do not join such organization. It is totally a fraud company directed by Mr. Mainak Saha.
Again, I would like to make a kind appeal to the I.T. Minister Dr. Debesh Das, Chief Minister Dr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and the Labour Commission to interfere into this matter.

The mail was horrified and threatening and even he claims himself to be a dangerous person. This type of mails is written when a person has no answer and the complaint done against him is true. the institute has a principal who himself is slimy character. He cannot speak english for continous two minutes. The only thing that he knows is about others. A person who is illiterate to the core, not even a graduate buty occupies a postion of Principal. What he can do is to freely distribute his gyan to female faculties. He used to sell food and tea at a popular junction. His contribution to the college academics is zero as he does not know anything. He also knows his future is bright as he can get a road side food vendor job. All the faculties laugh at his back. His partner Mr Soumik is even one step better. he potrays himself to be owner of the place.He too knows that he wont get a job only provide ner connection in offices.there is no placement even though the website claims so.if thats been the case, why students, the faculites will grab job at Nike,Pepsi or Coke.But the faculties are niether that good nor they have the ability to get a new job. Even if you insult them, they prefer to remain there.Management wont give them salary before 25 days and most of the time the cheques will bounce.Our faculites are happy there.
Our friends take drugs and do lot many things but the colege seems to unaware.we also keep one faculty in loop. he is happy and after a couple of pegs we come to know about the interesting facts of NIAS.
