Meter issue — Neighbour is stopping the meter and using electricity

I am geetha, i just wanted to register a complaint regarding my next door, who is stopping the meter and using (2 A/c through out the day and night, TV whole day, heater, computer and speakers, iron box etc) but the electricity charged is just around 350 to 400 for 2 months. In our flat we all came to know that they are stopping the meter by removing some wire from the meter and connecting it before 10 to 15 days when meter reading person is about to come.

We do not know where to complain this problem, electricity board need to catch hold of their theft of electricity.

NDPL — negative reading $ upgrade my load

dear sir your meter reader tell to me that your meter no.20000368, k.no.[protected]y, sv/597 is doing negative(reverse) reading, and over load on your meter. so, please change my meter and increase loading power of my meter up to 2KW. THANKS.

I am fully agree with the Complainant. If a person not having much resources for plastering his house can not be denied electricity connection. If it is denied, it will be totally unjustified and unreasonable.

I kindly draw your attention towards theft of electricity in our locality.Mr Ram Babu and his son Kalua, Dhalua, Resident of Hosue No-100, Gali No.6, Gaurav Nagar II, Prem Nagar III, Nangloi, Delhi-110041, Meter K No. is -68623, they all are indulge in theft of electricity for last couple of years.They distribute electricity to their tenantes by illegale and faulty electricity sub meters.Please take some strict action against them.One more thing i want to share with you they theft electricity before 6 am and after 10pm daily.All because of these peoples your costing is increased and we innocent people bare your losses in form of increase of electricity cost by you.So please do something urgently.

THEFT OF ELECTRICITY SINCE LAST MORE THAN 3 YEARS.

What has happened to the New Delhi Electricity Board? One family is stealing electricity since last more than 3 years and no one has taken action. The Inspector of the Electricity returns without punishing the family. Why? There has been no meter in the house in the famous colony of St. John's Church Compound.

The thief is a family of pastor who calls himself as a pastor or a preacher and fools and cheats others. He cheats others in the name of Jesus and God. This task he is doing since last more than 3 years and no one is taking action in this. Why?

There had been many complaints against this man and even then the inspectors get fooled because he fools everyone saying that he is man of God. The inspectors instead of giving him a fine get fooled by this man. This is the way he is using the name of God and fooling the Indian Government and has become a shame for those who pay the tax. We pay the tax for this reason, is it right????

How can a man who is at God's service steal the most important aspect of life, the electricity. He uses all the electric appliances including the fridge, TV, Cooler, Lights and even the electric heater. He has been earning a lot in the name of God and is a thief.

Who has power that thief can live happily in country like India. Is the department of the New Delhi Electricity Board not going to take action against such a huge thief of 3 long years. Why are the inspectors returning without punishing him?

Everyone in his neighborhood know that the electrician of the Colony comes and joins the wire of this house to the main pole. How Long Will this theft continue? Any action??? I hope this website is not fake as the man is.

I would like to once again inform you that Shri Sanjeev s/o Shri Jawala Prashad and Smt. Munni Devi w/o Shri Awedesh Kumar are illegally using the electricity in the house no. 472, near railway road, Azadpur village, Delhi. from the pole with the help of illegal wires . So, I request you to please check and take immediate necessary action against them. I have also complaint in writting in your office at naniwala bagh on 7.3.2009 or ndpl compliant net site against them. Till dated, the action has not been taken. These persons living near the area are using the valuable electricity withourt any cost and distributed to other persons who paid to them. Their electricity consumption is very high in night like i.e. cooler, heater etc. Sir, I have already given so many written and orally (by phone) complaint but no one take appropriate action towards my complaint. I hope you will take appropriate action against them as soon as possible. Being a resident of same area and also a witness i am no more responsible in future.

NDPL — DELAY IN NOT INSTALLING NEW METER

meter is very fast and bill of the not recieved regulerly . pls check last 9 months bill and reading and check the meter.

I want to make a complaint against Mr Johri, resident of B-103, New usmanpur, Pehla Pusta, Delhi-110053..this gentle man is openly using the electricty meant for street lights by means of joining a cable there. he runs 3-4 ac's whole day by illegal electricty.

Pl take an action against it asap as problem of power-cuts in delhi is a major issue right now.

I am nickel jain from 11221, lane no. 4, doriwalan, gaushala road(near new rohtak road).
i am living at 2nd floor and my neighbour "Mrs Aarti Vadhera w/o Mr Harish Vadhera" (at third floor) is doubted to missuse the electricity. I have checked on a number of occasions that the reading of his meter is not what it actually should be, as being a neighbour, i know the amount of electricity used by him.
