Nokia / 3500 Classic — Warranty Related Grievances

Dear Sir,


I have a cell phone Branded NOKIA 3500 Classic since February 2008 having warranty period of one year from the date of purchase. On 5th aug 2008 suddenly the LCD of that phone becomes black without any physical damage, immediately with warranty papers i went to the nearest NOKIA service Station.

By seeing the cell phone from outside they responded that it is a chargeable repair. When i asked them why this is a chargeable repair, they replied that LCD defect will not include in warranty.

Then i contacted with NOKIA Company through e-mail they replied me that u may have warranty period but if our professional technicians in NOKIA Service centre saying your phone repair is chargeable means we can't do anything rather you have to pay for it.

So please help me how can i recover my phone having full warranty period.

i hav purchased one nokia 1650 in nov 2008. But from the very first day i found it is having some manufacturing defect. I sent to the nokia care for 3 times but my problem has not been solved. I asked for replacement through the i had purchased but i was denied. Plz help
I have purchased Nokia 7210 from Music Planet, SCF 71-72 Sector-15, Faridabad on 14.05.09, but after 10days it was got swiched off inspite fo battery showing full charging. I rushed to Nokia care centre SCF 71-72 Sector-15, Faridabad for rectify the same. They kept my phone whole the day and returned by saying that there was problem in battery circuit and it got repaired. But after 3 days my phone got swichoff permanently. I again approached to above mentioned Nokia care centre for repairing the same or repalce the set. They refused to replace the set and said that your batttery will be replaced and the same will be replaced with in 5 days.But since it is over a week no repaly received from Nokia care centre and even no body is wothered to tell me when my battery will replaced. Kindly help me out.

dear sir. i have purchased nokia 5200 model gave to repair, spoiled completelly, this is rediculous about reputed good company .no body care about coustomer in this india.
I WANT TO INFORM YOU THAT I HAVE PURCHASED NOKIA 5320 MOBILE FROM YOUR NOKIA OUTLET IN BIG BAZAAR AT INOX MULTIPLEX ON 21/12/2008. PROLEM OCCURED IN MY HANSET IN SEPT'2009 DURING GURANTEE PERIOD. I APPROACED NOKIA CARE AT ARYANS COMMUNICATION ON 18/09/2009 FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH MY PROBLEM. I DEPOSITED MY HANSET WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT IT WILL BE REPIRED IN FEW DAYS. WHEN I AGAIN RECEIVED THE HANDSET THE THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURED AGAIN . I AGAIN APPROACED THE NOKIA CARE WITHIN ONE HOUR OF DELIVERY AND REPORTED THE PROBLEM. I AGAIN DEPOSITED THE SET BUT AFTER FEW DAYS WHEN I AGAIN RECIVED THE SET THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RECTIFIED.I AGAIN APPROACED THE NOKIA CARE AND THEY SUBMMITED THE CASE FOR REPLACEMENT OF SET.HOWEVER AFTER FEW DAYS WHEN I APPROACED THE NOKIA CARE THEY INFORMED ME THAT MODEL 7610 HAS BEEN SENT IN REPLACEMENT. I REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE SET AS MODEL 7610 HAS NOT GOT ANY FETURES THAT 5320 HAD LIKE IT WAS NOT 3G WITH VEDIO CONFERCING, NIETHER SYMBAIN BASED NOR XRESS MUSIC OR FACILITY TO SEND MAIL OR HAVING GOOGLE MAPING.THEY AGAING SEND BACK THE 7610 MODEL AND INSTEAD GAVE ME MODEL 5320 INSTEAD. I RECIVED THE MODEL BUT WITIN ONE DAY O[censored]SE THE PROBLEM WAS AGAIN OCCURING IN THAT SET. I AGAIN CAME TO NOKIA CARE AND INFORMED THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEM.THEY TOOK BACK THE SET AND ISSUED ME THE JOB SHEET NO.[protected]/091212/66 DT.12/12/2009.THE HISTORY OF THE MODEL NO. 5320 GIVEN TO ME WAS ITS IMEI NO. WAS[protected] AND THIS SET GURANTY WAS OVER ON 27/10/2009 AND IT WAS SEND TO HEADQUATERS FOR REPAIR ON 7/11/2009. WHY THEY ARE REPLACING THE SET WITH REPAIRED ONE AND THE PROBLEM AGAIN EXISTED IN THAT SET. WITH ALL MY GREIVENCES I CONTACTED BANGLORE CUSTOMER CARE ON[protected] AND THEY GIVE ME THE COMPLIANT NO. 1-[protected] WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT MY SET WILL BE RELACED BY EQIVALENT SET. AFTER THAT I AM AGAIN CONTACTINT NOKIA CARE CENTRE AT ARYANS COMMUNICATION WITH THE ASSURACE EVERY TIME THAT YOUR CASE IS IN PROGRESS AND YOUR SET WILL BE RELACED BY EQIVALENT SET SHORTLY. HOWEVER I REGRET TO SAY THAT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED EQIVALENT SET TILL NOW AND MR. PANDEY IS SAYING THAT THEY WILL REPLACE IT BY 5320 MODEL ONLY. HOW COME IF IT IS REPLACED BY 5320 MODEL WHICH HAS NOW BEEN STOPPED IN PRODUCTION BY NOKIA DUE TO SOME TECNICAL FLAW, THEN THEY WILL GIVE ME REPAIRED SET AND WHAT GURANTEE THAT PROBLEM WILL NOT APPEAR IN REPAIRED SET AS GIVEN/ REPLACED EALIER. I AM IN A FIX THAT SO LARGE REPUTED COMPANY LIKE NOKIA IS DEALING SUCH SHABBILY WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS AND MORE THAN 5-6 MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND I HAVE NOT GOT THE EQIVALENT SET BACK . I MUST ALSO QUOTE THE LINES THAT THE WARRANTY CLAUSE OF YOUR NOKIA USER GUIDE STATES

UNDER THIS OBLIGATION I RESPECTFULLY SAY THAT KINDLY ASSURE ME THE AMOUNT THAT I HAVE PURCHASED THE SET AND I AM READY TO PAY THE BALANCE AMOUNT TO PROCURE NEW EQIVALENT SET IF YOUR POOR COMPANY IS NOT ABLE TO FOLLOW THE STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS/BINDING AS STATED ABOVE. I AM REALLY FED UP PURSUING MY CASE AND I DONT KNOW WHERE TO CONTACT AND WHOM TO TELL MY GREVINCES. IHAVE AGAIN SPOKEN TO THE BANLORE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY HAVE ASSURED JUSTICE TO THE CASE .
