Nokia Lumia 710 — At its worst | |||
Hi. I bought a Nokia Lumia 710 from The Mobile Store on 9th of July. Initially I was using a Vodafone postpaid connection with which I had issues connecting to instant messengers. I contacted Nokia customer care and they asked to me to visit a Nokia care and reinstall the software. Even before one week of purchase I had to go to the nokia care and got the software reinstalled. But the issue was not rectified. Then they told me its the issue with the operator. So, I ported my number to airtel. I was able to use the airtel connection for 3-4 days and that's the end. My phone does not have internet connection anymore. Contacted airtel and they told everything is up end working from their side. Then contacted Nokia and they told its a known issue with Airtel and Lumia 710. Though I was told it would be fixed at the earliest its not yet done and they don't give us an exact time of resolution. This is the first time I am hearing that Airtel, which is India 's one of the leading provider had conflict with phones. Even the windows market is no more working. This is really annoying. People shell out so much on the phones and the manufacturers are least botherd to provide proper support.
