[Resolved]  Nokia N78 Mobile Handset — Unsatisfactory repair/replacement within guarantee/warranty period.

Sir/Madam,
I bought N78 mobile handset from Nokia Priority Dealer(Tele Talk, R-50, Mangalam, Vikas Marg, Shakarpur, Delhi-110092) on[protected], whose Bill No. is[protected]/6120.I had been told by the seller that the Gurrenty/Warranty will be for one year from the date of purchase ie upto[protected].During the gurrenty/warranty period there arose a fault in the speakers and red disconnection key of the hand set, for which I contacted the Nokia care at Rishikesh(Tele Point Computers)on 20-04-09.I was given Service Job Sheet No.[protected]/090420/19.The hand set was returned to me on 22-04-09, but the fault was still there and I was told that the handset had a major fault and it needs to be sent to the main service centre for repair which will take at least 2-3 weeks.But I had no that much of time, since I am in Govt. Service in Almora.In the month of May 09 I went to Delhi for some personal work, there also, I had been told by the Nokia Care that the fault is major and it will take at least 2 weeks for repair of the handset.Since it was not manageable for me to come back to Delhi after 2 weeks to collect my handset, I came back to Almora as such.Meanwhile, in the month of June 09, Nokia Care was opened in Almora.I surrendered my handset to Almora Centre(Sunny Communications.Jakhandevi, Mall Road)on 18-06-09 for the same problem, for which I was given Service Job sheet No.[protected]/090618/11.On 04 Aug 09, my handset was returned back to me, but still it was not repaired satisfactorily.Red disconnection key and one speaker was working properly now, but the second speaker was not functioning properly.I informed about this to the the centre immediately, but they told me that now the warranty/gurreenty period has been lapsed(according to their server's data)and now it will be repaired on payment.I put my remarks on the job sheet before signing for deliveery of the set as"I am not satisfied with the job carried out on my handset.I have checked the handset and it is not working properly.One of the speaker has not been repaired/replaced."
Sir, kindly consider my complaint for proper disposal.I shall be grateful to you.

nokia-n78 — for bad service from nokia care ujjain

my cell NOKIA- N 78 was going on offline mode again n agin, n sopme times it was showing sim card rejected. i gave this cell on 20/01/09 on nokia care ujjain. they took n say that it will send to bhopal for repair. mu cells information r attached below. thje job sheet no. is 24972.
myself Bahadur singh purchasedthis mob on 05/06/08, from global telecom.now it is around a couple of month, here in ujjain nokia care now they say that mob was opened outside at some shop. i asked for the headoffice contact no. [protected].

the person Pranay here says after keeping my mob for these many days that it happens in 1 case out of 100 that we r unable to c this. if my mob was already opened at some other place, then they would have told me about that n would have rejected the warranty. this way they misguided me.
now i just want my cell to b replaced by new one, or ill take some legal action, under consumer protection act.

nokia-n78 — not received my phone back

respected sirs/madams,

i have given my nokia n78 phone for servicing in authorised nokia care centre which is krishna communications(anand, gujarat) and i also bought it from nokia priority centre which is mobile junction on dt. 20/8/08 with invoice. i gave my phone for as it had faults for servicing to the above said centre on 01/08/09 and they told me that i was supposed to receive it back within 15 to 16 days. so i made some follow ups to local care centres and also called their toll free no. for tracing my phone and its status. when i asked them that i already requested to receive my phone back as i ll be flying to australia on 22nd of august so before that i should get it back they promised that i ll be getting my phone back. now i have been receiving luke warm response regarding the issue and have not received my phone back. my jobsheet no. is 65404867/090801/36 anh my hanh set imei no. is [protected]. i called thrice to local nokia care centre and the toll free service also but they make call them back again n again for details. i gave my proof of purchase and every other thing that i was supposed to but nobody is telling me that why i am not receiving my phone back

please i request you to look to the matter and resolve it.

Nokia N78 Mobile Phone — Non Satisfaction of repair done in mobile handset within warrenty/Guarantee period

I brought N78 Nokia mobile Phone From Nokia Priority Dealer(Tele Talk, R-50, Mangalam, Vikas Marg, Shakarpur, Delhi;Phone No[protected] on[protected].I was told by the dealer that the warrenty/guarantee period for the set will be for the one year from the date of purchase.After a few months of purchase, the loudspeakers of the set stoped functioning and also 'Red disconnection key' was not functioning smoothly.For this I Approached Nokia Care at Rishikesh(Telepoint Comouters, 34 Railway Road), on[protected] Job Sheet No[protected]/090420/19;but my mobile set was not repaired there.They told me that the mobile hand set needs to be sent to Delhi as there is some major fault in the set and it will take at least 3 weeks for repairing of the set.As I am in Government service and I could not wait for too long time, I received my handset back.In the month of April 2009, I came to Delhi for some personal work;I approached to Nokia Care in Delhi, They also told same thing to me that it will take at least 2-3 weeks for repair.In the month of june 2009, Nokia Care was inaugerated in Almora(my Work place).I reached there and surrendered my handset there(Sunny Telecommunications, Mall Road, Almora)on[protected]Job Sheet No[protected]/090618/11).I received my handset back in the month of August2009(after a period of about one and half months), But it was not repaired satisfactorily, as 'Red disconnection key' and only one loudspeaker was working properly and the other loudspeaker was not working properly(it was producing hissing sound).I immidiately informed for the second loudspeaker's malfunctioning(before receiving back my handset) to the Nokia care, but they told me that now the warranty/Guarentee period has been lapsed(They were counting it from the date of import)and now it will be repaired on payment.I opposed that, firstly, the warranty/Guarenttee should be counted from the date of purchase as told by the dealer.Secondly, the complaint is in continuity of date[protected]and not a new complaint, as, I had not received back the set till the moment) which has not been repaired earlier.But they didn, t convinced.And then I wrote on the job sheet(before receiving the set)-'I am not satisfied with the job carried out on my handset.I have checked the handset and it is not working properly.one of the loudspeaker has not been repaired/replaced"

Nokia — REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY UNSATISFACTORY

NOKIA CARE CENTER(NCC) PEOPLE ARE CHEATING CONSUMERS IN THEIR SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY NOKIA PRODUCTS. REPLACING ORIGINAL SPARE-PARTS WITH DUPLICATE ONES.
ALSO CHANGING THE PHONE CASE/HOUSING, MAIN DISPLAY SCREEN, ETC... .

WHICH IS NOT ONLY RUINING NOKIA'S GOODWILL BUT ALSO ASKING A GREAT QUESTION TO PURCHASE ANY NEW NOKIA HANDSET HENCEFORTH.

THEREFORE I REQUEST ALL NOKIA USERS NOT TO GO FOR NCC FOR MOBILE REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY.(SOFTWARE UPDATION CAN BE DONE THROUGH NOKIA WEBSITE)

IF STILL YOU ARE GOING THEN ASK FOR ITS SPARE PARTS GENUINENESS.

Nokia — unsatisfactory replacement of handset

sir,
my nokia 6303-classic was switched off 15 days earlier. I approached to the nearest nokia care centre to repair it. they kept my phone with them and told me that it will be available to you in a week. after 13 days i got a call from them to collect my handset. i reached there and saw that my grey coloured6303-c phone was replaced by a black coloured 6303-c which seems to be ugly. when i asked them why phone was not replaced by a grey colur set they dinied and told its not our responsibility. please replace my phone by a grey coloured only
