[Resolved]  NTP TOURISM AFFAIRS LTD — Non-refund of money charged dubiously

Three o[censored]s booked for the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra (by land) - Land Cruiser with Delhi Branch of NTP Tourism Affairs Ltd. They charged us Rs 87000/- per person basis for Land Cruiser. The Quoted rates for travel by bus were at Rs 75000/- per person.

We paid all the monies in advance by May 1, 2013 for the trip. All air tickets were also booked in advance. We were very clear that we were going to do this trip only if permits via Land Cruiser were available. The office agent, Ms Ruby Ghai, promised the same. Once we landed in Nepal, one night before departure from Nepal to China, the agent's employees (Ms Babita) informed that they had not applied for the Land Cruiser permits. Further, they cheated us on the whole trip by stating that the Cruiser will arrive the next day. So, we had to do the whole trip by bus and the land cruiser never arrived on the 12 day itinerary. Though there were 5-7 land cruisers travelling with the group. Their Nepal office had said we can claim the refund from Delhi.

After return, they have been acting rouges and not refunding the additional monies charged. Infact, their office employees do not even acknowledge the emails and it is only the Director that you can escalate to (Mr Hemant Kumar ) to get even a response saying we have received this email.

They are not willing to refund the money (Rs 36000) charged extra and I need to file a legal suit on them for refund as well as demurrages for the extreme inconvenience due to their dishonest and rouge behavior.
