[Resolved] NTP TOURISM AFFAIRS LTD — Refund of my Yatra Money | |||
I am writing to let you know that company named NTP TOURISM AFFAIRS LTD is not refunding my money for 2012 Kailash Mansarovar Yatra not conducted by them due to heavy snowing in the Kailash region. I paid INR 80,000/- for 2012 Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to NTP TOURISM AFFAIRS LTD in the month of Sep’ 12. The company promised me refund of my money on 18/09/2012 but more than 4 months has passed by but I haven’t received my refund yet. I have send numerous email & made many phone calls from Dubai (Sir I am NRI working in Dubai). Now a days my phone calls & emails are not being answered. I contacted the chairman of this company Mr Hemant Kumar to get my refund. He promised me his intervention in getting my refund on 26/11/2012 but there after I did not get any response from his side. I paid this money based on their online advertisement for this holy yatra. Complete details of this company are as below. Nepaltourism.net received a $970.00 USD deposit for Kailash Yatra August 15th. In the beginning of July after reading about the flooding caused by early monsoon, I requested the balance of my deposit back. I allowed the $400 deposit as non-refundable, and the $570 refundable as per their contract. It is now August 21, 2013 and I get promises and delays but no money back. I sent a complaint to the Nepal Tourism Board today. Please anybody feel free to contact me with info on how to get a refund. Also, if I eventually do get any refund, either by complaint, legal action or coming directly to their offices, I will let you know what happens. Susan R at [protected]@aol.com.

We have booked our package tour for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra-2014 on dt.[protected] and paid Rs. 185562/- . Accordingly as per tour programme we booked our flight tickets from Delhi to Kathmandu & Back. We were asking the NTP Tourism Affairs Ltd. to send the receipt of payment we paid to them online in their ICICI Bank but instead of sending the receipt they informed us through e mail dated 8-5-2014 that they have cancelled the tour. Upon receipt of e mail we requested to refund the money but till that they neither refunded our money nor responding our mail. We have lost huge amount of money on account of cancellation of our booked air tickets. Be cautious / careful with such tour operating agencies who cheats the innocent public.
One my friend tell me don’t book package from Nepal Tourism Package, I am working on Government Job. I booked Nepal Tour Package from ntptourism.net. Ntp tourism affairs ltd. give me best tour price and service in Nepal. I suggest to everyone to book nepal tour package from Nepal Tourism Package.
