digital camera — error on screen
hi,My name is ganesh.
my camera model no DSC-W180/SC E37
when i swicth on the camera, i got an error on screen as " Reinsert the memory stick".
however if i insert again, then also read the same error.
pls do the need full.

I have FE-47 olympus camera... n i m not at all happy with the performance... battery is discharged with in 20-25 min. It hardly affords 10 click or less. bought in mid of dec. 2010
I received an Olympus FE camera for a gift for Xmas by March it developed a black line through the screen, I shipped it back they sent me a new DEFECTIVE Camera that did not work at all, so I called them again they told me to reship it back then tried to charge me 75.00 to repair a caamera they sent me broken that did not work, so I called them again and they told me I must have caused the damage but I never even used the camera it came from Plympus broken. So they got the money for the sale of the original camera, sdent another defective replacement and have no intension of rectifying the situation. DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS make sure you file a complaint with your STate Attorney Generals Office.
They are a horrible company tyo deal with they take your money sell you a defective product when you return it as it only works a week or two they try to tell you its your fault it does not work and under warranty if you want it fixedf pay them another 75.00. Why would anyone do that when the original junk they sell is defective to begin with especially their FE cameras, they do not call you back, they do not email you back they are a louse company with the worse Customer Service I have ever seen. Tell everyone not to bother purchasing their products all the do is take your money and run.

BIG Bazaar/ Olympus Camera — Supplied Defective Camera
Respected Sir,I had purchased an Olympus camera from Riverside Mall, Gomti Nagar Lucknow from BIG BAZAR in the offer given on 26th Jan 2010.
I was handed over the camera after 15 days of booking. When I used that camera in my house I found its pics r under exposed. I went to Big bazat to complain their executive for the problem, there I was misguided by them saying that the setting was not proper in the camera. I kept the camera and when I used this camera for recording of a ceremony for which I had purchased this, it did not work and all my function was without recording.
I complained about this camera to Mr. Amit (HR Executive at Big bazar, riverside Mall , LKo) several times on phone but he did not respond me properly and finally he was never available to me on phone.
Thereafter I was given phone No. of another executive Mr. Ravi Kant Anand (Electronic head) I met him personally and he could find that the Battery connectivity is not in the camera and then he asked me to get repair my camera from workshop.
Big Bazar and Olympus cheated me by supplying defected camera.
Thereafter, Mr. Anand asked me to handover the camera, which was sent to Olympus repair workshop at Delhi on 5/5/2010 and repaired my camera and sent it to Big Bazar after more then one month ie on 7-6-2010 and informing me that the whole software has been changed in camera and now it is working.
I am not interested in this camera because I was supplied defected camera, which was proved after repair and change of software in the camera by Olympus workshop. My camera does not come under warranty because it was having manufacturing defect when it was supplied to me and it was not defected by me.
Sir, I want this camera changed with a new camera or my money should be refunded.
I feel Big Bazar executive are helpless in solving my problem and the customers are being cheated at this BIG shop and are unable to get their problem solved by BIG BAZAR executives.
Presently neither they are responding my e-mails nor they are attending my phone call.
Please help and guide me in the matter.
