[Resolved]  Parsvnath Palacia — No Progress

Dear All,

I bought a flat in Parsvnath Palacia in 2007 December with a promise that the flat will be ready by mid 2010, but as I see the status today (May 2012), looks like there is no end to the sorry state of affairs.

I am appealing all of you to get together with me and file a case in the Consumer Court to get the money back with interest.

I booked a flat with Parsvath Builders in one of their prestigious projects Palacia at Greater Noida (Flat No. Palacia A1-602) in June 2007 with the sole purpose to live in the flat, I made almost full payment of Rs. 50, 49, 125/- towards the flat under the down payment plan, with an expectation to take benefit of 10% rebate under the plan. I had to take a Home Loan for Rs. 44 Lacs 70 Thousand in June 2007 from HDFC Bank for the purpose of making payment towards the booked flat. I approached the builder on numerous occasions considering the lack luster state in which construction was ongoing at Palacia Project but the builder was not transparent in any communication and commitment. By 2010 the time by when the builder promised to give the house for possession, Forget about completion, there was not even a single tower which was constructed, The builder agreed to transfer to another prestigious project Privilege (Flat No. 502, T-12) at Greater Noida given the state of issues at palacia project, the builder also assured me of a Loan from PNB bank and even sent written letters to give occupation by March 2012. Today Not even a single tower is ready in the project, forget about the date of possession we sincerely doubt the credibility of builder to finish the Privilege Project. I have been paying interest on loan and monthly EMIs since 2007 apart from staying in a rented accommodation. given the fact that, I invested huge amount in the current project I am not in a capacity to purchase any other property. This incident has shaken me to the core considering the harassment we are facing for the last 6 years or so, I had already filed a case some 1.5 years back but given the lack luster state of courts in INDIA, I doubt I will get a judgement in another 2 years time frame.
Our system is corrupt, courts are corrupt dont know what to do
Dear friends Time has come now to come on the Roads and protest against this thief.
I guess I don't have words to express my despondency
